Wishes or Illuminations Cruise? Which is better?

DH and I have 2 girls ages 2.5 & 5.5 and are considering a speciality fireworks cruise. Any recommendations on what the first choice should be and why? Thanks!!!

With girls your age, I would vote for Wishes. I've done both, and although you are much closer for the Illuminations cruise, you are kind of at ground zero so I didn't find the view to be as good. Also, if the breeze is blowing in the direction of your boat (as it was the night we did Illuminations cruise), the smoke is quite thick.

For Wishes, you get a fabulous view of the castle and all the fireworks. You may even catch a special showing of the Electric Water Pageant if your driver plans it right and docks you next to one of the Pirate Cruises (you might also want to consider this cruise with your little ones). We pulled up right next to a pirate cruise and got to see the EWP and also heard the Wishes music piped in from their boat.

Our Wishes pontoon boat had the piped-in music. I don't know if this is only offered on some boats or is a new feature. We just went on the Wishes cruise last month and thought it was faulous. The fireworks are so impressive from a distance, but you can still see the castle well when you're sitting out on the lake.

Another big vote for Wishes, and I have done both cruises.

We just did both in Sept. with our DS who was 2 and we really enjoyed Illuminations better. For Illuminations we sat on the boat under the bridge and were able to see Illuminations with ease. However, for Wishes, our boat kept swaying and the driver had to keep turning on the engine to put us back in place which caused us to miss a lot of the music and show. I really liked being docked better than sitting in the middle of the lake.

However, I think either one would be great!
