As you all know has Wishes made its return past weekend. More pyrotechnics have been added during the "death" moments (like Ariel and Fantasia) from last years version.

Photos from Wishes are right here:

Thank you sooo much!

I have never seen Wishes live but it must be great! :)

it does sound really good, but I've heard some really bad reviews? Can anyone comment?

Don't expect loud banging fireworks. DLRP isn't allowed to use those because of the surrounding villages.

Aw :( but they used to have tonnes of fireworks back in the day - new regulations? Is it mainly a laser show?

We saw it last year and LOVED it.

I think a lot of people were expecting it to be identical to WDW's Wishes hence their disappointment. Perhaps it was a mistake to give it the same name :confused3

Is this on every night or is it seasonal.

Will it be on End Aug to begining sept

It finishes on 28th August, as do Fantillusion and late openings I think. We will just miss these, going on 2nd Sept. :guilty:

Thanks for sharing your photos they are great. I am looking forward to seeing this show in the summer. It looks much better than the fireworks we saw in may.

Summer season ends on the 27th this year, one day earlier than 2005. ;)

I saw Wishes last year and absolutely loved it, saw it 4 nights running and never liked it more each time. It's so magical and clever. It's like a more refined, elegant version of it's bigger, brasher American cousin. I say don't believe the bad things you read about the show - see it for yourself, don't be expecting massive fireworks and you'll love it. :)

Suits me! As someone who isn't keen on fireworks (and has a DD who won't tolerate them), I don't think they'll be too many problems. Hubby and I saw the WDW Wishes two years ago and I was fully prepared to leave a quivering mess (like I did after the Epcot display :worried:  ) but I absolutely adored it.

I've been telling DD it's a 'Story in the Sky' and she seems quite keen so far. How we'll keep the kids awake until closing is another matter :), I think it'll be a late start at the park that day in order to conserve some energy.

the fireworks in DLP are wonderful ,every year my DD says mummy why can,t the fireworks here be like the disney ones as she hates the big loud bangs that go off here , and she always belives she can see tinkerbell in the sky its magical

Count us in as a family who LOVES Wishes! Can't wait to see it again next week.

I've uploaded a video of the show here:

Edit: video is currently going back to the editing room, I'll keep you posted when it's back online!
