Wishes & illuminations cruise

I was reading on how to obtain an illuminations cruise. It states to request an 8:00pm specialty cruise. after you have the boat you then request to view illuminations.

If you are wanting to see Wishes fireworks what do you request? Don't these fireworks go off at different times depending on MK park hours? How do you know you will get to see wishes? Do you request an 8:00 pm specialty cruise and then say you want to see wishes? There is not too much information on securing a wishes cruise, can anyone help?

you might request the electric water parade time as well, that way you get fireworks and the ewp.

I asked for a specialty cruise to see Wishes...she knew exactly what I was requesting. I received a tentative time at booking and was told to call back for the actual time once hours were released. We did see the EWP as well as Wishes the night we went.

How long was your wishes cruise? They don't always have the parade before the fireworks, do they? How would you be able to know when they had both?

Was it a magical cruise? Looking to WOW the family!

We have done a magic kingdom fireworks cruise but when we did it, it was fantasy in the sky the entire cruise took about a hour and a half and depending on the cm skipper of the boat , ours was wonderful cannot remember his name but he was great took us for a cruise of the lake and showed us the hidden humphrey at wilderness lodge and then showed us the water bridge and then over to poly and gf and showed us the wedding pavilion before jockeying for a prime spot for the fireworks before the show he pointed out some things about magic kingdom and told us to listen carefully you could actually hear the haunted mansion ride very cool
all in all it was a very cool and very much worth the price
this year we are lucky to have an illuminations cruise never been but looking forward to it as i've never really had a good viewing of illuminations always get stuck behind a tree or something
