Wishes from the resorts

We're hoping to catch Wishes during our monorail resort tour. I'm not sure where we'll be when the fireworks start... could anyone recommend where to watch at each of the monorail resorts?

Where should we watch Wishes from the following resorts:

Polynesian?

Contemporary?

Grand Floridian?

Sorry, just needed to correct this. If you go to the GF beach, you won't be able to see anything. You want to go to the marina by Gasparillas Grille. If you get their early enough, you can grab a snack/drink from the Grille and take it to one of the outside tables. They're a great spot to watch the fireworks.

For the Contemporary, they have a 4th floor observation deck that's open to anyone.

You can see it from the beach at the Poly. We do it almost every evening when we stay there. It's a wonderful way to end your day!

Tammi, You are absolutely correct. I meant to write marina but was thinking of the beach at the Poly and was wishing that I was sitting on it as our weather is not very nice right now. Definitely get there a bit early to get a table. Excellent spot.

I see you are staying at the Yacht Club in 20 days!!! It is def not as good a view as being in the park or at one of the monorail resorts BUT if you walk over to the Boardwalk and stand by Spoodles you can see the fireworks from there as well. When we stayed at the Boardwalk last October we sat on our balcony must nights and could see Wishes..(again not the best view) IMO nothing beats seeing Fireworks in the Magic Kingdom itself.

P.S. I love the Foos 2!!!! their new album is awesome!!!

Thanks for the tip! We'll have to check it out when we're around our resort.

The FOO are amazing!! I've seen them SO many times, and met them too... they seem like great guys, especially Dave. I hope to see them in March on tour!!

If you make an ADR at the California Grill before Wishes then that is another great location at the Contemporary to see them from.

I'm here at WDW at the moment and actually saw Wishes last night. I have to say that it really makes a bigger impact when you can actually see and hear everything. Unfortunately for us, we had ressies at Crystal Palace and didn't get out until about 8:30pm. The view from Crystal Palace is perfect but we could barely hear the background music. Of course we were also surrounded by people who talked through the entire show instead listening and letting the people around them actually enjoy the show. I really don't understand how people can talk through Wishes .
