Which is better?

Viewing Wishes from 'Ohana or from the Beach at the Polynesian? And... how do we get to the beach if that is the preferred viewing spot? We've seen it from the restaurant before and it was really nice, we know we may not be seated in a viewing location and that we might not even be seated on time, but we will be seeing Wishes in the park anyway, so it isn't a big deal if we don't see it from the Poly.

To get out to the beach, when you leave 'OHana take a right and go down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs take a left and follow the hallway outside. There are walkways which lead to the pool and the beach beyond.

From my experience....I like to hear the music that goes along with wishes. You can not hear the music from all areas of the beach. Try to find a spot near a speaker (i.e. at the end of the dock)

We like viewing from the beach area - Ohanas can get really crowded and noisy. As the OP stated, go down the stairs and go out the main doors on the 1st floor. Walk straight past the Volcano Pool to the beach. Once you hit the beach, go to the right - there are many speakers there so you can hear the music and Jiminy Crickett. It's really nice if you get there early and get to sit on a hammock or swing but just sitting on the edge of the sand is nice too.
