Wishes FP complaint

The Hub and Main Street (especially closer to the Hub) will all be very busy.
Disney's THREE after-dark spectaculars have set up this situation.

Is the view from the Plaza restaurant good? One night a few years ago, we decided to grab a late night meal at the Crystal Palace. The lady sat us a table that had an excellent view (to us) of both the parade and Wishes. We liked it much better than being in the hub in front of the castle.
I don't think you have a view from inside The Plaza. There are tables outside but I don't think they are part of the restaurant.

1. Correct.
2. Yup, and they usually get taken pretty early in the evening.

But the cows at the packing plant also don't have the choice to go to the plant or not. No one tells them they can stay home or go visit another plant if they so choose to.

Suddenly and for some strange reason I'm grateful I'm not a cow.

So off topic (but not completely), does anyone know the situation for getting same day Wishes fastpasses? I'm leaning towards a FP for this since the wife really enjoys it but would prefer to do this same day if possible. Probably looking at booking on October 28, a day when MK has evening EMH and is open to midnight. Thanks

Couple of things here. 1) I like being able to enter at 8 p.m. We grab desserts from the Confectionary and have a picnic while we watch MSEP. Then CTM and Wishes. .

How is the view of MSEP from the Wishes FP area? We have a Wishes FP but we also want to have a good spot for the parade (4 kids, and we're probably only having the one late night out).

We went into our FP area (we picked the left side) at about 8:15 on 6/5 and caught MSEP, Celebrate the Magic and Wishes. We were right in the front, and my boyfriend and I are both about 5'9. We could only see the top 3/4ths of the floats, and almost never saw any of the performers who were walking. We didn't mind much but I could see kids possibly being upset with not seeing.

That night our side was pretty empty! It was nice. We had a lot of space and had a fun little "picnic" beforehand. Very relaxing and I would definitely do it again!

Oh I was thinking stay near the entrance/exit to the FP area so you don't feel as packed in and so you could duck out more easily if needed.
Ohhhh lol sorry. I didn't quite get that. Yea..that is a good idea. That would give her the "out" option. I was thinking..wow won't it be more crowded toward the exit /entrance....haha. That makes more sense. MK is open until midnight when we go ..so we won't rush out. We will probably go try and get on some rides!

Generally, expect them to be unavailable.

I've been going to WDW since 1973 and always thought the tables belonged with The Plaza. I learn something new everyday. Thanks for the information! Those outside tables were what I meant as far as a view for Wishes.

I get anxious in crowded spaces too so the Wishes FP was my plan too lol. We'll see if it works. We usually book the Dessert Party (well before the price increase!) or watch at the end of Main Street.

Is there a great place to see it and then move into the FP area for Wishes? Keeping in mind we'll have 3 strollers and an ECV, so we're not exactly zippy.

All of the curb-side places in and near the Hub and the northern end of Main Street will likely be filled by 60-90 minutes before the parade start-time.

Parades and fireworks are for standing ONLY! I'll never understand the laziness that goes on at WDW...

Sorry to go a bit off topic but which would be the most crowded and a good use of FP+, Festival of Fantasy parade, Electrical Parade, or Wishes? I had a FP+ for FoF but changed that to MSEP and now I’m wondering if that was a good choice. I figured that MSEP would be harder to see from faraway

I was online last night at 12:00:01 60 days out to book our Fastpasses and there were no Wishes FP+ available for our stay. Or Festival of Fantasy for the days we are in MK. I was just checking the first four days of our 6 day stay end of September, so far from busy time. That is just ridiculous, and crazy to think it is not even worth it when you get there. So much for locking in your fun, Fastpass+!
I just got a Wishes FP today for August 18th ! I have been looking everyday and finally one popped up.
