Has anyone been on a fireworks cruise to watch Wishes? They sound wonderful, but I'd love a recommendation from someone who has actually been on one.

In case anyone else might be interested, I've spoken to Disney and here's the scoop:

For a 25 ft pontoon boat (holds up to 10 adults) with audio, it's $275. That includes snacks and drinks--popcorn, etc. From Disney Private Dining, you can order other food options (sandwiches, pizza, alcoholic beverages, etc). You cruise for an hour and enjoy "VIP" fireworks viewing." You can book 90 days in advance.

I was thinking that this might be a nice option after our 5:00 vow renewal. A bit romantic but also fun for our three kids.

I'm trying to figure out what times fireworks might be in early April, but since it's July, can't find April hours anywhere on-line. Anyone know?

Thanks,

Jen L.

I havent been on the MK cruise...but Fireworks in April are normally at 10pm

We did a Wishes cruise on our honeymoon and would highly reccomend it. DH surprised me by ordering champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for the cruise and it was wonderful. We had a fabulous captain. We got a tour of the seven seas lagoon, got to watch the electric water pageant (or whatever its actually called) and then watched Wishes before heading back to the Contemporary.

HTH :)

another vote for do it if you can get it booked!
did one after our wedding, and although it was cold and windy, it was great ending to a great day, everyone loved it

Sounds great... I would love to do that with my family and future in laws.. I am going to look more into it... thanks :surfweb:

As far a hour for Wishes is concerned, Easter week might be different than regular weeks in April. Check out historical times to see what time the fireworks might be Easter week.

We did the Wishes fireworks cruise on the Grand One after our wedding reception at V&A's. We loved it, and thought it was the perfect way to end our wedding day. For refreshments, we had chocolate covered strawberries & bottled water. It was all definitely worth the $$$.
Cheers!
