just looking for clarification. Am I correct in reading on mydisneyexperience that the wishes dessert party can be booked as a 1 credit TS reservation?
When I booked it the other day for our August trip with TS dining plan, it charged my credit card the full amount immediately. I did not see an option to use TS credits or I would have done that.
For our August trip(after the new, more expensive Wishes desert party has been rolled out), when I made the reservation, I was charged immediately, and it was not offered to use a DDP credit. I believe it is not covered as such.

Do you think it will be different than the old one or did they just raise the price? We went in October 2014 and had a great time so I hope it's similar but for the extra $$$ I hope it's different and you are getting more for your money.
From what I read, there will be tablecloths on the tables, sparkling juice will be served, and in addition to the desserts, and assortment of cheese and crackers will be available. So, in my opinion, it doesn't warrant a rate increase, but we have never done the party, either one, so, we are doing it this time to try it out, and hopefully have a good spot for the fireworks. That was our main objective. They don't roll out the new party until July 5th, so, we won't have any real live reports till then.
