Looking for Valentine's Day also - DH 60th birthday and celebrating our anniversay which will be on the 7th -

me too... wonder if they are planning / considering adding hours to January dates, which would change the time of the parties?

just keep checking...just keep checking...

Have we heard if they were bringing in back for 2013? I remember reading in the first few years, there was also discussion on whether it would continue.

It seems so popular though, I'd hate to see any of that come true.

Just a thought, no facts to any of it. And I hope all of you waiting for January get it soon!!!

Please, please forgive me, but I have a couple of questions and this terrific thread is a bit overwhelming.

I didn't plan to do the dessert party this trip because we are only doing MK during MVMCP. I thought it would eat up too much party time. Now I've read/seen the wonderful reviews of the holiday editions of Magic, Memories, and You. Also many people have commented how crowded the parties are this year.

Do you think the party is a good idea for us? Would you go during MVMCP?

Thanks!

I'd be very surprised if you can find a dessert party reservation open at this point :( We all booked like a mad fiend about 5 weeks ago when December first opened up.

My date is still wide open. :thumbsup2

Any opinions? Is it worth it on a party night?

Guess iit depends on why you go to the party. We go for special characters, fireworks and parade. The characters will take most of our time so I wouldny waste the time for the desserts then. It would also kill me to double spend for the same night. As much as party tickets coat now I wouldn't be able to swallow losing party time on something else that costs even more money.

That said if you go to the party just for fireworks and atmosphere then maybe. Also would you stake out your spot that early anyway? If so then that might help answer.

No idea - I've never been. This is our first time going :)

We are on the fence about the party. We are going to see how my kids do for the Dessert party which is the 10th - first full day of our trip and see how it goes from there. If you are not sure then I'd just book it while it is still available and if you feel it's not doable or not worth it then cancel it later on.

Joining in the wait, but for February.. Looks like it's going to be a good month or more! I want Valentine's day! :lovestruc

:wave2: Hi Imreadytogotodisney! It's Lovely. :)

US TOO! Valentines day is my birthday, and what better way to spend it then eating lots of tasty desserts!

Still nothing for January. CM told me to call back mid- Dec! Ha! Clearly you don't know that I've called everyday for three weeks, you think I'm going to stop now?
