Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread December 1-29 2012 Now Open!

I am trying to keep track of the Wishes Dessert party because I would LOVE to go! We are going Nov 10-21. I was trying to scan through the thread and think I saw notes of people getting ressies in October - is this correct?

What is the farthest out people have gotten their reservations?

I don't think any October dates are released yet. But probably within the next 1-2 weeks they will.

October dates have not yet been released for booking, the Sundays in September that many on this thread have been waiting to be released just became bookable yesterday or the day before.

Hopeing for Oct any day now but no one really knows for sure.

Of course the day I'm working a 12 hour shift & not online is when Disney releases Sundays in Sept!! I knew that would happen! Didn't matter tho, we were still able to book for Sept 11th, the day I really wanted. Still had to book the phantom grandchild tho. I'm begining to think Disney only books 1 or 2 parties of 2.

Since we got in on Sept 11, I cancelled the party on Sept 12th (Monday) for a party of 3, if anyone is looking for that day. Good luck all!!

It seems we are together on this one. We had ressies for 9/12 but wanted 9/11 and i was thankfully able to change it first thing yeaterday morning. I am glad i called early, when i called back later on it was a 30 minute wait! This is our first time going so we can'r wait.

Congrats! Boy, the last week of October must be a romantic week! We'll be there too for our 10th Anniversary! Hoping for the Dessert Party on Oct. 22nd... our first night of the trip!

I know it's crazy to wish for January Dates at this point... but i do. We went in June '10 for my bday. We are going back in January for our 20th wedding anniversary and I would love to do it again... without the kids! Just have to sub to this thread and count down like everyone else.

Past dates booking became available

July Thur 4/21 except for 7/3 & 7/4 which were released at a later date
Aug Sat 5/28
Sept Wed 7/13 except for Sunday dates which just came out days ago


As you can see there is no rhyme or reason as to when October will become available to book

It is normally offered on nights when Wishes is scheduled although last year during heavy dining periods(during FD) it has been reported that they opened the Tomorrowland Terrice for dinner so there were not parties on those nights.

Everyone who has been watching this thread seems to have been able to book since we normally find out as soon as a month becomes bookable.

Parties of 2 seems to be hardest to book with little availability, some have had to book for 3 then call and cancel one person.

Forgive me if this has been asked 10 times, but im wondering.... when I look at the desert party on the Disney dining reservations site it says that it is not included in the dining plan yet I also saw an option that says "use your dining plan to book this" ? How does that work?

I think that is a mistake. The dining plan reference may be on there for every reservation, and they haven't taken it off for the dessert party. In fact, I have heard that, at least in the past, if the dining plan box was clicked, the dessert party automatically showed no availablity.

So I'd ignore the Dining plan reference.

I wanted to book only for myself, but their was no availability, so I booked for 3. I put it as one adult and 2 under 3! Will it be a problem to call and cancel the phantom little ones or should I just show up by myself that night?

The dates are showing thru November but they haven't actually opened up for even October yet....we are all patiently (????) waiting for them to open up October AND November.....

So I'm thinking it's going to be a little bit for December. Keep checking on here for when dates open up....you'll know right away!!! People will be ecstatic

People have reported booking 3 and calling and cancelling 1 with no problem, give it a try and call, since it will open up a spot for a party of 2.

Best Guess is around 6 weeks before Dec 1 (10/20)give or take a week. Previious post #711 tells past release dates if you care to read back and see.
