Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread December 1-29 2012 Now Open!

I just read the best dessert party review and thought others here on this tread might like to read it while we wait for October to open up,

The OP even addresses the issue of not being able to book for the number of guests you need. According to the OP they had to book 2 parties of 3 when they needed for 5 but were able to get one person refunded by calling.

They've released most of the F&W Fest special event info for booking on 8/16. I was planning on booking the Wishes party for 10/19, but if they don't open the dates soon, I think I'm going to pass for other F&W events.

My group will be all adults and we're already looking to book Sweet Sundays and the Italian Pizza / Beer pairing event. If the Wishes dates don't open up by 8/16, I think we're going to book the Italian dessert/wine paring on 10/20 instead of the dessert party. If I go with a F&W event instead of the Wishes party, my fallback will be to grab a Lapu Lapu and check out Wishes from the Poly beach on 10/19

I was considering the 3 D Dessert Party for DH and myself, but now that we decided to attend MNSSHP it falls on the same evening 10/21 so it is either Wishes for us on the 22nd or Poly beach also

They have some interesting events for F&W but by time they released the whats and the whens of the events I had everything for our stay planned out and did not see anything listed that made me want to switch things up on this trip. The Pizza/Beer pairing sounds good

Has anyone succeeded in booking the Oct/Nov dates available online? I noticed last night that they were showing up as bookable, but only Nov 28 fit my trip and there was nothing available. Didn't know if this was because they aren't actually available yet or if they were booked. When I booked CP this morning she said that she couldn't see Nov yet on her computer.

October is not yet opened for booking, I still check each morning and night but more than likely we are looking at Opening bookings to open mid-August.

Past dates when bookings became available

July 4/21 (except for 7/3 &7/4 which opened later)

August 5/28

Sounds like you are using Firefox? You need to use IE. Firefox is not currently working with online Disney Dining reservations. Regardless, it seems that they have not opened up booking for October.

I check each day but at least we are getting closer as it is almost August. I have been waiting like the rest of you since when we made are ADRs at 180 Days. It is going to be so great once we can book it

I apologize if this has already been answered. However, does anyone know what the current pricing is for the party? Maybe the Sept pricing since that's a similar season to late Nov/early Dec. Or should I compare to last year's pricing?

We called last Friday and thankfully there was still an opening for 9/12. We wanted 9/14 but we changed our akershush to 9/14 instead and added on the bbb at MK. This dessert party was the one thing that we felt we just had to do so we are super excited we were able to get in! Good luck to everybody who is still waiting. I was terrified we wouldn't get in but thank you God! We can't wait to fill our bellys with sugary sweetness!

We attended the Dessert party last year during one of the MNSSHP and felt it was worth it, just to sit and enjoy the fireworks! I'd love to do the same this year while we attend MVMCP, but the online ADR booking doesn't show as an option, so I'm guessing it is not being offered during the MVMCP? Anyone know for sure? I'm looking at Nov. 111-15?

I just snagged an opening for Sunday Aug 28th. Sadly, for a party of one; but that might mean there are other openings available for you if the cancelling party was large )

I just wanted to let you know Sept Sundays are open now. I just booked Sept 25 Sunday and cancelled our 26th ADR. 25th is my first choice date so I'm very happy!!!
