Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread December 1-29 2012 Now Open!

I booked for 9/24! So excited!

Then I guess I just don't know what I'm doing on making this adr. I have been clicking the "search for a table" button on Sept 11th for the last 4 hours and all it will give me is...."Sorry, we were unable to find available times.
." This is beyond frustrating.

Well poop, it is clickable. The CM on the phone said that it would be very unusual for them to be sold out this quickly...

Unless they have a big group that called in and got the entire place, there is no way it could have been sold out already. I started looking around 5-6 hours ago when they first said it was opened up and there was no availability. I have to assume that there is just a problem with some of the dates still. I'll try to give it another day.

Maybe not the right place for this but would you do Crystal Palace for dinner or Wishes dessert buffet and just CS for dinner? I already have ADR for CP at 7:30 and wondered if the wishes buffet would be a better way to get great seats for Wishes?

Wishes Dessert Party will be definitely better view for Wishes. You have minimal view at the CP.


I checked online before site was down for Sept 25 and wasn't open. Manually typed in also.... I just got sick of it and booked Sept 26 instead. I guess I'll be keep checking for 25 and switch if it opens up. I called Disney Dining also to check if CM could book 25th but she couldn't do it.

I am planning on doing the dessert party mostly to have a guarenteed viewing spot to see the fireworks. DH is not a big fan of stakeing out a spot and being in the middle of the crushing crowded masses that occurs during the fireworks...been there done that many times. In fact if we don't do the party we will watch the fireworks from the Poly beach. The desserts at the party are secondary for us since we will be having dinner at 'Ohanas @5pm and I am sure too full to eat much, although DH is a sweets type of person so ya never know.

I would say it all depends on your eating habits if you will be too full after CP and if you might want to have CS and maybe eat earlier?

I doubt I have more than some coffee and one or two bites at the party myself but view from tomorrowland terrace from what I have seen is worth paying for.

It's also my DS's birthday (Sept 26). I just think that 25th will work better since MK has evening EMH and I don't have to exit the park with the mass of other. Anyways, if 25th isn't available, 26th works as well. Just need to endure the crowd at the end.

Maybe we will see you at the party! It's just me and DS this trip.

I wanted it that day too because we have lunch instead of dinner reservations so we can have a lighter dinner or not have dinner at all and not be stuffed for the party. My group will be me, my husband, and my mom...

Now I just have to remember to call about the dietary restrictions that aren't in the checklists (mom can't have caffeine, which includes chocolate so I want to make sure they have stuff she can eat)

Has anyone had any luck with scheduling the dessert party on any sunday in Sept, yet? the 4th, 11th, 18th or 25th? I was still trying for the 11th and getting the "Sorry, we were unable to find available times."
