Very strange how they've switched many December times to 6:00pm. That makes me hopeful that the dates haven't actually opened yet, but it's also weird because there's no conceivable scenario where it would start at 6:00 right?

Definitely strange. It looks like the non-party nights are the ones changing to 6:00 but Wishes on those nights is scheduled for 10:00, I think, so there's no reason for the party to be at 6:00.

The party nights are showing 8:30 times.

We are also trying to get a Reservation for Dec 6th. I have been calling everyday since I hit my 180 days and have been told many different stories!

I just called 5 minutes ago and the cast member said that opening up the Dessert Party this far in advance is new and they are trying to schedule it with the Xmas Party. The Dates have not been released yet and she is not sure when they will. I guess I will be calling everyday then!

Got my Reservation! However, why is it so early at 6:00. Are the fireworks going to be at 7?

Non party nights are still booking for 6:00PM. I don't feel great about that. Like they'll be canceled.

I was going to book one just to have... but being the "super planner" I am I made sure that I booked CRT and BOG around 6 so that I'd have plenty of time to do the fireworks event should it open.

I called and they are absolutely taking reservations but it is for 6:00, and I am NOT canceling BOG or CRT.

This is so annoying.

I got a choice of 6:00 and 6:15 for Dec. 6, but Wishes is scheduled for 10:00.

Awesome!!! I was able to get my reservation for Dec 7 at 8:30 --- I've been checking/calling constantly for the past 5 days and I'm glad I won't have to keep doing that anymore.

I just called yet again, and the reservations for that day, December 6th, are at 6 or 615. I went ahead and made the reservations, however, they are not sure if they will update the times of the Fireworks Show or the party; or if we will go to the desert party at 6:00, THEN have to go back later on for the reserve seating for the fireworks!

I asked if they changed the times are updated if someone would call and she said of course. Praying things work out!

Two Questions:

1) Can this be booked using the MDE website? The CM (Irene was her name) I just talked with said that we have to call in to get the reservation for this event and that we probably couldn't book it through MDE. Anyone here book theirs through MDE website? That's what I check daily. Today was my first time to call in to check for this event and that information seemed odd to me.

2) Does anyone have the link to the thread that is currently listing DIS members and the dates they are booked for this event? I found it once but cannot find it now.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!! I've got my reservation!!!! To begin with she said the 6th wasn't open, so I took the 4th during the Christmas Party so at least I could switch out if the 6th came open. As soon as I got off the phone the 6th did open. I too ended up with a 6:20 reservation. She checked and said they were doing it that way because they aren't sure when the fireworks will be. She said to ask as soon as I arrive on the 6th because as soon as the fireworks start they start putting the desserts away. I'm so happy but nervous at the same time! I hope they change it to the later time way before the 6th so I'll know for sure.

I got a 6:10 reservation for the 1st of December. I guess as it gets closer we we will see what goes on with the fireworks. I don't care what time, I am happy I got it lol

I'm so glad I'm awake at 3am! I just booked in for 9 December :-D I was originally going to try to 10 December, but that's one of the days showing 6pm bookings and I have BOG booked at 7pm. Oh well...With ADRs done and Wishes finally booked, I can finally relax...for about 100 days until FPs need to be booked! Lol

I got December 6!!!!

I booked online and was confused about the 6:00pm time so I called. The CM I chatted with was VERY confident the time would be changed to 9:00pm. She said she checked with two different departments for confirmation. She said to expect a call announcing the time change closer to the event date.

Woo hoo! Now I can sleep in past 6am!!!
