Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Welcome to the club. Read backward on this thread and you will see that many of us have been dealing with this for the past MONTH!! Every day, calling, checking this thread, sending emails and calling Guest Relations.

I got on the Dessert Party ADR Hell-Train way back on March 10th, which was MY 180-day out mark. Made all of my other ADR's for our visit w/o any problem, but the Dessert Party ADR has been well, less-than-magical! Today, the CM asked me if there was anyting I am celebrating on this visit. I replied, "If I ever get this ADR, THAT will be what I will be celebrating!"

Dessert Party ADR Hell-Train! I love it! I wish we were passengers aboard a different Disney Train together!

I agree it is a hell-train with no "magic". My daughter told me it was too stressful for her to schedule anything.

Trying AGAIN to reach the two persons who emailed me ASKING me to call them regarding the Sept ADR difficulties......

Reese Hicks

and

Audra Robinson

Disney Reservation Center

I don't know when these gals are actually available to recieve phone calls but I've been trying and trying every few days for about 2 weeks and all I've been getting is pre-recorded messages saying they are unable to answer calls at this time... for varying reasons. :confused3

I received a voice mail from Reese on Sunday and she was very apologetic but said it was due to the finalization of MNSSHP and Night of Joy. She said there was no wait list nor any way of them knowing in advance when the resos would be open.
She was very nice but I once again hung up the phone not knowing a darn thing more than I did before I got on the phone. Maybe Audra will know something? At this point I really don't think anyone knows a darn thing. My Mickey ears are turning red with frustration :(

Oh hogwash! ( to her not you ;) )

How many years now have party tix gone on sale May 1st? They have to have some sort of a timetable. And it would be far kinder to have CMs tell us "for sure reservations won't be taken before April blah blah blah" instead of "don't know, keep calling!"

The CM I got today said about the same thing.

If anyone is planning to cancel for 6 ppl on 4/21 or for 4 ppl 4/25...please post so I can try to snag it!!! Trying to surprise my family with this;) I know its a long shot but I have hope!!! Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this!

September still not open, but did get confirmation from the CM that wishes starts at 10 on September 10.

Thank you... Looks like it wont open until may..

That's what I'm thinking. I think this is the first time since the party became bookable at 180 days that the time came around before the party dates. Seems like the 180 days prior worked well for the rest of the year, but they didn't think through what they would do when it came time for us to book and the party dates weren't finalized.

That makes perfect sense! :thumbsup2
