Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

So frustrating! I called this morning too (it's the first day my trip opened for booking). All of my other dining reservations were available and easy to book online (plenty of Be Our Guest dinners, there were even Cinderella's Royal Table 8:05 slots on most days). This is really annoying mostly because I'm in the Seattle area and it's 4:00 a.m. here when I have to make myself available to make these calls. :sad2: Looks like I'll be trying again later in the week.

It was also frustrating because the CM was obviously new. She mispronounced my resort (Coronado) and had never heard of this event. I had to repeat "Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party" about five times. It's hard enough to enunciate at 4 a.m. as it is. :headache: I just want my dessert buffet...

Thankfully Ohio is in the right time zone and I'm up by 7. Daily Light Savings Sunday was our 180 day and that hurt. Especially needing to wake up for online and an hour later for the phone.

I'm hoping they are released later today.

I also called this morning (today is my 180). The CM was very nice and tried to make a reservation a couple of different ways, but ultimately she could not make one. I will be trying again tomorrow (or maybe later today just in case it opens during the day).

I sent an email off to WDW (from the "contact us" page on the official site). The more "squeaks" in the wheel the sooner the problem will get addressed.

This happens every year I try to book the party. I was so excited to see it was now opened at 180+10, but I almost feel like I am at a disadvantage more this year than past years. If guests are arriving a few days before me, they all have a chance to book way before I do. Where as when they opened a date at 60-90 days it was fair game to anyone to book.

Agreed. I'm staying off-site, so my chances of booking this are slim-to-none. I realize that on-site guests deserve some perks (after all, I love staying on-site and wish we were), but I get the frustration.

Hi, I have been on here for years and I am finally posting, I have gained such valuable information from everyone here and I am hoping to be able to help some of you with the dessert party. I have also not been able to book past June 8th. what I did was go into the tab to "make reservations" on the Disney site under "things to do" I then typed in the date and time (approx) and hit enter it will list all the restaurants with times available then scroll down to Tomorrowland Dessert party and will show you a time. I just did this for my July trip 10 minutes and it worked. give it a try.

Thanks for the info! I am able to see past the June 8th date doing this. The info for September just isn't in the system yet.

Looking for June 22 or 28 for 5 guests. Haven't had luck online or on the phone. If anyone has a cancellation for either of those nights, I'll gladly take it off your hands.

Figures that I booked all of our ADRs 180 days out with no issue but didn't even give the dessert a thought back then because I was used to waiting till the previous stalking window of 60-90 days out. Bummer!

When I called last week, the CM couldn't select it either. She was just as puzzled as I was. Have been trying through MDE but always shows sold out. Le sigh.

Good luck to everyone!! Hope you get what you want!

Thanks for the info. Maybe it will work for earlier dates, but I just tried this for my Sept 10th date and the Dessert Party was listed under "13 Restaurants with No Availability". So, still a no-go for me!

I completely agree...

I made my call again this morning. The CM couldn't understand why it couldn't be booked. It annoyed her, so She did some checking and was told the rest of September has not been opened yet because they are finalizing the MNSSHP dates. She was not sure when it would be open, and her advise was to call every day (which I was planning on doing anyway).

Ughhhh. :worried::worried::worried::worried:

So I called again this morning, and this time I was again told no times. I had the CM check to see if the event was booked up, or if it hadn't been loaded yet. She called guest services, where apparently she was told (by CM Ricardo) that the September dates had been added, and must be all taken! If this is true, I am so disappointed. I called yesterday at 4am sharp (7am EST), and then again today at 4:30 (I couldn't manage to wake up earlier two days in a row). Could they really have ALL sold out in 30 minutes, for every day of the trip? I checked the four days of the trip that would not be MNSSHP.

I am choosing to believe (for now) that the information she received was incorrect. Did anyone else have any luck this morning and was able to book? Or did you hear something similar/different?

Completely different than what I was told, but I'm betting this is the correct information. Looks like I'll be waking up early again... :surfweb:

Called twice this morning and both said it was not full just not available to be booked. So depressing watching my +10 window slip away.

FYI: I called this morning and just booked the new Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party at Epcot for end of August (8 pm, Wednesdays, Friday or Saturdays if I remember correctly).

They have openings via phone so it's a suitable back-up plan (albeit pricey) if you can't get into Wishes.

So I'm doing Illuminations dessert party on a Wednesday and Wishes dessert party that Friday. Anyone recommend a good diet plan and gym membership? ;)

There is no seating for this new dessert party right?

No one knows for sure yet. Will have to wait for the first review. A few CM's have said there will be seating to eat but for the fireworks viewing there will be a standing area.

I am also thinking that the info you rec'd was incorrect. I spoke with 3 CM's (and one of those checked with supervisor) and all told me that my week (I want party on Sept 10th) had not loaded into the system. So since "my 3" CM's info agrees with the info given to several others posting on this thread.... I would say that "preponderance of the evidence" (LOL) leans toward that being the case.
I sent an email to WDW (can be found on the "contact us" page) explaining whats going on. Might not hurt for as many of us who can to also do this. More squeaking wheels!
