Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Here is the reply email I received today from Disney after I emailed them regarding the Dessert Party reservation process: "Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort. The policy has not changed for the dessert party. It can still be booked 60-90 days prior to arrival due to it being an outdoor venue. Our other locations such as Be Our Guest are booked 180 days in advance."

Such conflicting info every year?????!!!

Ummmmmmm, it's RIGHT ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE (screaming at the email response, not you, gorjus). On the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party page under "know before you go".... says 180 days!!!!!!!!!
Edited to add... you should reply with a little FYI for the Disney Rep that composed that email to you.

I had included in my email that the website shows its a 180 day reservation event, so they didn't tell me differently in the response. Instead, I got a typical "lame-o, cookie-cutter, say nothing but use a lot of pleasant words doing it" response:

Yep, that makes it ALL BETTER! My eyes are all clouded over with pixie dust now...... until tomorrow morning when I have to call and deal with this for the 5th day this week!

I called this morning too (of course ) I got a great CM again who looked at dates beyond the 8th and confirmed that there are no bookings on those dates yet, and they haven't been released. She said they will go live on the website at the same time they open up for booking by phone. I nonchalantly asked her if they had officially released the dates yet for MNSSHP because I also wanted to purchase tickets to that event. She said "No, not yet" I mentioned that I wondered if that had anything to do with the remainder of September not being open yet for Wishes and she said, "Yes, that's 100% why". Sooooo.....I went searching for past dates that MNSSHP dates were released and it looks like April 30-May1st time frame. Are they really going to make us wait THAT long to book?!?! I might go certifiably insane if my alarm wakes me up at 5am for that many more weeks!!!!

So I guess those of us that were able to book that far ahead did so because of a "glitch"? I'm reserved for late August.

We have reservations for late august, also. Should we be concerned that those reservations will not be honored? I have a confirmation number, but the situation has me a little worried.

Hi! When I called this morning the CM that I spoke with also gave me the speel about it not booking at 180 days but 30-60 days. I told her that I know that some guests have sept 7th booked and it was news to her. She did go ahead and confirm the same that yes indeed sept 7th has guests booked but no date after. She gave me the same info about calling everyday until it opens up and that she had no idea when that would be. She did offer to book me at the new Epcot dessert party which really does me no good.
Looms like I'll be setting my alarm again tomorrow. So glad for this board to realize I'm not alone in this frustration. Good luck to everyone and thanks for posting all the info.

I called today again to check for September 7th, booked solid. She said they can book up to the 9th. I asked about the 13th and was told it doesn't go that far out yet. I told her I made other dinner reservations that day and she just repeated that in "her system" the dessert party was still blacked out.

According to official park hours Wishes is at 9pm

I am sorry for everyone that is waiting for Sept to open up but I have to say this reminds me of when it was still 60 days out instead of the 180. There was always so much anxiety about when the dates would open up and frustration at the CM's who didn't know anything. I really hope that you all get the reservations you want and you get them soon!!

The party begins 1 hour before wishes the time on your ADR does not matter you can arrive 1 hour before.

Still no luck. Today I received the waiting on MNSSHP spiel. I'm sure it will happen tomorrow since I can't call at 7 am.

new to DIS boards....wish I would've found you guys sooner! DH & I are taking our DDs for 1st trip week of May 24-30 and completely missed the memo of booking dessert party 180+10. Even our Disney agent didn't know about the change Have received conflicting info from multiple CMs over last month as to "no avail dates" vs "dates not open yet" so it seems even some CMs are in the dark. If anyone is canceling May 24-29, can we coordinate?

Thanks for any advice/help!!

Still nothing open after September 7. I have to say that I have called every day since Tuesday and each CM I spoke to was very pleasant and knew what the dessert party was. They have all apologized for the dates not being open, as well as not knowing when the dates will open. At least calling in has not been a stressful experience where I need to explain exactly what I am trying to reserve.

I just called and the CM said that MK have "blocked" all the dates in September for now whilst they decide when MNSSHP is going to be. They don't know when they will open them up, she told me just to keep trying!

Has anyone actually booked for the first week of september?!

Just rang again as I wasn't convinced what the CM told me on the 1st phone call....I tried for the 3rd Sept and 8th Sept and she said both were full up, she could see people were booked onto both and she couldn't book so convinced it was full up?!

What is going on?!
