My 180 +10 window opens up tomorrow. I have been playing with making a reservation for the Desert Party but it doesn't seem like anything has been available yet for September. I have paid attention to the fact that some days are Nights of Joy or MNSSHP and those wouldn't have the parties, but the other nights aren't showing availability either. Anyone been able to book for September yet? I would prefer to do it online tomorrow morning, but I will call if I need to. They open the phones at 6am Eastern, right?

Phones open at 7am eastern for dining, an hour after the online bookings open at 6am.

I just found reservations on various dates in both July and August online.

I got up at 5am Central to get my dining reservations made. The Dessert Party still wasn't showing up as available to book for September, go figure. I waited until 6am (7am Eastern) and called Dining and they said that September isn't loaded into the system yet. She suggested that I call back tomorrow. So much for not having to play the stalking game this year.

I just got off the phone and the 9/11 date I was looking for is not open yet. The very informative cast member looked at the surrounding dates and determined they have not loaded the week of Sept 8 yet. So she recommended I check again after 8:30 or later today. She thought they would load today on Monday and be available today or tomorrow. She did say there were 2 opening on 9/7 if that helps anyone.

Thanks for this. I'm glad you were able to get through to a CM. I was holding for 30mins. Then my phone handset went dead and i had to redial and start over.

SO FRUSTRATING! I am trying to book for 9/7! I called back a second time after reading your post and my CM swore that they 180 +10 was a rumor, and this event does not open until 90 days. I told him about this site and asked him to look at 9/7 for me, he said it showed up as not open to book. He then looked at the booking guidelines for Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party and he told me that it states this restaurant is not available for booking 180 days in advance. I told him that there were people with confirmed bookings on August 30th, which is clearly more than 90 days out. He was very nice, but swears that you can not book 180 days out. How are these CM's so ill informed?!?!?!

The cast member I spoke with looked up the fireworks time and then looked for the reservation time an hour before the fireworks. She had been to the party and thought it was great. The other 2 I have spoken with just did they, sorry, we know nothing.

I have heard this scenario repeated over and over on these boards! Some get into the Dessert Party w/o problem 180 days out and others are told what you were told. There has to be a special window or link or SOMETHING that some CM's are not seeing, or don't have knowledge of! This morning I was told, as others were, that the week of Sept 8th hasn't loaded yet. She did NOT tell me it's too far out to make ressies. If, when I call back, I get one that tells me it's only available 90 days out I will disregard it. Clearly that is OLD info! I'm I'm just going to keep burning up the WDW DINE phone lines until I get one that can help me.

I had booked for NYE 2012 but ended up so sick we had to cancel our reservations. I spent NYE sick in our hotel

However, DH is amazing and we are going this year, hoping for Dec 30 NYE fireworks. We are staying off-site, so I'm not optimistic that this is going to happen, but no harm in trying!

Thanks so much for the advice! I couldn't figure out why everyone was saying you could book at 180 days yet it wasn't showing up last weekend when I tried. I was just able to get in for August 30

OK so I've been trying this tip online and the site show times available for other MK TS restaurants but for the Dessert Party it shows no availability for that date and when you click on the link specifically for the Dessert Party the only clickable dates are for UP TO June 8th (which I'm guessing is 90 days out from today-?) Anything after that is a grey colored (not clickable) number on the calendar.
dledger, how did you get an Aug 30th date? That's way past June 8th!
