Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

Anyone ever do this on Christmas Day? Is it difficult to get? That's what I am waiting for... Thank, first timer :-)

I'm hoping for Christmas Day but not sure think it will be luck off the draw!!cdf84cdf85

I think if you're watching this thread you will be able to get it. It's the number of people in the park in general that would concern me. I haven't decided yet, leaning toward 12/26.

Is Dec open yet? Someone said they tried making ressies for 12/27! I don't want to miss out on getting a ressie for this and I didn't think Dec had opened yet!!

Just called again and it's not open for December yet. The guy I spoke to said probably around the first week of October but I'm still calling everyday. :p

If it wasn't out of country long distance I would too:rotfl:. I'll just have to rely on this thread to let me know!
I am really really hoping for the 15th. I should pick a back up night too just in case I don't get my first choice.
I had a weird question pop into my head tonight.
So you know how they pipe the music for Wishes into places like the California Grill and I think the beach at the Poly etc?
Do they still do that for special party fireworks? Since that is one of the special perks of paying for the party I'd find it kind of strange if they did I guess. It doesn't matter either way, we plan on seeing them from the park, but I was curious.

Just an FYI

I will be canceling a WDP reservation this week
November 11th 8:30 pm

If you would like to coordinate so you can get this reservation, PM me . I have this notice out on another thread. First PM gets to set up a date to try to coordinate.

Thanks!

I will likely have another date to cancel soon.

Waiting to make reservation for Dec 25th TLDP. First timer.... Any tips on time & date to call to try to get good seats?

Sub to this thread and make sure you have checked instant notification under thread tools simply posting to sub WILL not get emails sent!

December should open last week of Sept- 1st week in Oct

Calling is not best as CM's are quite frequently unaware that the party is open to book and give out mis information

Also, just wanted to mention that from what I've learned (mostly here!), "good seats" aren't really a must-have for the actualy fireworks show. Everyone stands along the terrace railing during the show. So "good seats" could mean close to the dessert table for some of us and close to the rail for others! :rotfl2:

Does anyone know if 12/30 & 12/31 open up the same time as the rest of Dec. I have read that those two days cost $$ more. Anywhere to find out how much they are?

This was posted on the Dessert Party information thread, figured more people will see it here. Please contact the quoted person below if you'd like to work out these reservations:

Good to know, I'm sure my kids would want to sit by the dessert table. :hyper:I also heard that they run out of desserts fast!?!? I'm not sure if this is true.

When we did the dessert party most people didn't stand. I was thankful for this because my boyfriend uses a power wheelchair and I was worried that people would stand and block his view.

I have done the dessert party several times and the people always stand in front of us my nephew is autistic and we stay seated at table but have been able to see the fireworks just fine. The people do block the preshow on the castle especially when the adults put children up on their shoulders but we are okay with that. People would probably be more considerate of someone in a wheelchair as it is a more obvious reason to remain seated. We have been lucky in the past to have a table up close to rail and I just keep my fingers crossed that hordes of people don't squeeze in front of us. Looking forward to our party in Nov?
