Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread #3-book @ 180 Days Now!

I'm hoping for December 14th which will be our last night there. I hope it isn't too difficult since that is a Saturday night. I get excited and more impatient every time I see someone else get the date they want booked! :santa::cool1:

What I have found is that if I don't click on the notifications then after two notices I don't get any more. So you may want to click on the notifications to go to the thread each time so that the system knows that you're still interested. On most other websites were I have email notification it continues to send whether I still want the notices months later or not, lol....but disboards seems to be considerate and stop them if you don't show some interest after a couple.

I was able to get my first choice date for November and am hoping to snag one for December as well, so I've been clicking every notice that comes in, lol.
Thanks, I appreciate that info...I bet that was my problem!

Does anyone know if you can cancel? I'm thinking your cc gets charged right away so I wasn't sure how a cancellation would work -- just in case.

Does it matter if you arrive late for your time?

I ask because the night we booked, Nov. 18, is also the only night that the MSEP will be running when we'll be at MK. The only given time available for me to book was 8:15 PM.

Should I try to rebook for a later time or should we just watch the parade from the Plaza and then get to the Terrace for 8:20-8:30?

The time you booked does not matter, they start letting everyone in at the same time, about 45 min before Wishes I think. It will be fine to be a bit late although I have been told they may run out of certain desserts.

So I think the date we're going to try for is December 15th for MVMCP. I'd like a calm, uncrowded place to watch the fireworks and then we'll try to make our way over to fronteirland for the second parade, which I have read is typically much less crowded. Anyone see any flaws in that plan?
I really debated about wasting party time at the dessert party but honestly we'd just be camping out somewhere on Main Street for a good spot for the parade and Wishes at that time anyway.

I subscribed but I don't get any notices when someone posts a new comment. :confused3

Un subscribe then Re- subscribe under thread tools and check off instant notifications.

I think the problem is people are subscribing by posting which will not get emails sent to you

Just booked for Nov 29th !!!! :cool1:

We were there last week (3rd time), and had a blast !!! So comfortable, and the desserts were great ! (and there were on a ton--- even later on into the night !!!)

Some new ones too (at least I think they were)-- they had mini apple and banana tarts that we had not seen before--- and, or course, the Mango shooters !!!
