Thabks for the pic! That is a great view it makes me super excited for our ressie Did you watch the parade from the dessert party? If so was there a good view for you?

We did. You could see the floats just fine IMO. Obviously not as good as if you were right on Main St. Or in the Hub, but we could see them!

After following this thread in advance of our trip and stalking the reservation site, I was able to get our Aug 1 ressie within minutes of Aug opening. Just wanted to share that the party was FABULOUS and so were our AMAZING seats.

Dessert party won't be held on MVMCP nites. Dec. calendar for dessert party does not have MVMCP nights highlighted as of this afternoon.

Hi, new to this forum but have been watching with interest all the updates re reservations for the wishes dessert party. We are at Disney for xmas and new year and have luckily made all our reservations including xmas day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Was wondering if anyone knows whether there will be a desserts party New Year's Eve? Or has anyone attended on New Year's Eve before? Keeping my fingers crossed there is one and I can get a reservation! Or very little chance .........

IIRC the Dessert Parties did not show up as being on MVMCP evenings until mid Sept. We stayed CL last year and IPO swore there would be no Dessert Parties on MVCMP evening. Eventually, the days were highlighted on the calendar and all dates were available for reservations.

I will hold out hope that this is the same for this year as well. I would hate having to miss it! It really has become a tradition for our MVMCP evening!

I expect the calendars to change as I know positively the Dessert Party was held during MVMCP in 2011 and 2012

If you check page 1 I have the NYE DP info listed for 2011 they hold 2 Separate Parties on NYE/2 different Fireworks Dsplays

Hahaha- peeing!!! Sorry, lack of sleep from attending the dessert party last night- hoping everyone gets the dates they are looking for- view was amazing and desserts were yummy!!
