If you can't get the dessert party for them, they can get a FP+ for it so they don't have to waste hours waiting in front the castle.

This is also my backup plan for our family, but waiting for FP+s to be released is another sit at the computer for a month hitting refresh a few times a day event because we don't know when FP+s for parades and fireworks will be released. I'm frustrated that WDW requires me to plan exactly what I want to do and when I want to do it at 180+10 days out for maximum chance of getting most of what we want, but that WDW doesn't have correct or complete information/availability that far in advance. I know things can and do change unexpectedly, but a better effort to get it correct in advance is needed. OK, getting off soapbox, rant over.

I wanted to thank whoever cancelled their dessert party today for 10/27/2014.

I was finally able to snag a party of 4 reservation for that date today. I have been searching daily for several weeks now. I have a dedicated tab opened up for it actually. I did a double take when the box extended further down than usual allowing me a time-slot option.

To those out there still looking, keep trying regularly. You just never know when a time-slot will open up.

Theoretically, yes. Whether or not the dates you want will actually be open for booking is a different story.

Just called today and they are still having "technical issues" with non party nights in December not allowing the dessert party to be booked. They are aware of the issue, but can't say when it will be fixed.

It's possible. The way you can tell if it is a night they are having technical issues with, when you go to the Disney sight where you can look for an available reservation after you choose Tomorrow Land Terrace if the only time available is 6:00 for the time choice then they are having issues with that night. I was looking for December 13 when I called.

I was hoping to wake up this morning and have the party issues be fixed! I'm starting to struggle with logging online at 5:55am every morning to check if it changed overnight. . However, it's worth it! I am hoping to get 12/15 (non-party night) and will give updates if I learn anything new!

I'm glad I found this thread, I've been trying to get one for Dec 10th and keep getting the 6pm error, explains now. Hope they sort it soon

After reading this thread for weeks now, I realize how lucky I was getting our reservation for this. We always choose to arrive on a party night (and usually arrive at the hotel around 1 pm and as such, don't buy park ticket for that day) and decided this time to do the fireworks party on that night. I didn't realize how difficult it has been to get these reservations because I logged in at 6 am and didn't actually try for this first (did the BOG try first), so at 6:10 I tried for the party and immediately got it for 8:35, which also means I was one of the first to get the reservations because the first reservation is at 8:30. Somehow I get lucky and am thrilled with it. I did end up getting a BOG, but not for the night I wanted, so I'm still in search of that perfect BOG reservation!

If they would only get Non party nights fixed for December. Getting tired of looking every day... 3-4 times a day...

I know that some people could book for December 3rd, but it might have been closed down since the time is wrong and was interfering with dinning reservations. I also am looking for the 1st, 3rd or 6th and check constantly throughout the day.

I was able to book for a party of 4 but would not let me book for 6 which is what we need. It's crazy I tried for another reservation of just 2 but it would not allow. But it did allow me to book another reservation for 4 under another acct.. So now we have 2 reservations for 12/18 for 4 people each! When I called Disney to see if they could change my reservations into one ressie for 6 they said NO.

I have to call and take 2 people off of one of the reservations n we will have to be at 2 tables! OMG

Still not showing times for nonparty nites but plenty open dates for party nites especially for parties if four!
