Wishes Dessert Party ADR Watch Thread # 2 - September 2013 OPEN!!!

I also get an error message when I bring up the Dessert Party Reservations. It must be a Canadian thing. I can't wait to book my reservation for August 21st. It will be the first night of our first trip to Disneyworld!

I haven't been able to get on to the Dessert Party Reservation either--or the REST of the Disney website. I think its down--again. I'm in the US, so its not just a Canadian thing!!

How far in advance can you make your reservations, is it sixty days before the start of your reservation. I'm arriving on 11/2 so would it be 9/2?

Ha....that's the problem! No one has any idea! That's why everyone is constantly stalking the DisBoard as well as the ADR lines! I'm hoping and praying for a September date!

My sister and I want to surprise our mom with this when we go in early August. Hopefully I'll be able to make a reservation. I've never done this, but have had friends tell me how incredible it is! Hopefully I'll see when the reservations open up!

Our first and last park days in August are both ending with Magic Kingdom. The 26th we have an ADR at CP for 6:05 and Wishes is at 10. The 30th we have an ADR at CRT for 5:45 and Wishes is at 9. Which would you prefer?
I know I'll take whichever one I can get, just not sure if there's one I should try for over the other!

Can't wait for Sept to be released. I went for the first time last year with my girls. I am hoping to get a date our Aug/Sept trip because my parents are going with us this year and I know they will love it.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news by you will regret having a dinner ADR before the dessert party.We've done the party twice and my best advice is to switch one of those to lunch, then have a light (healthy) early dinner/snack. Since you are much more like to be able to switch the CP ADR, I would try for that.

I agree. We have opted for a late-ish breakfast at Crystal Palace & then a late counter service lunch so we could enjoy the dessert party.

I am with you. We normally do a 'late-ish' QS lunch at Peco's Bills. This year I think we are going to try BOG.

This will be our first time doing the dessert party and this is what we decided to do too. Originally had a ADR but cancelled it and will do an early counter dinner.

We're actually not big dessert people, we're just doing it for the experience. But I appreciate the advice!

I'm subbing for info on October dates (6-11) and December (19-23). I have to guess I'll be able to get SOMETHING for one of our two trips! We loved the dessert party!

OMG I never would have thought that we'd have to wait and randomly check to see when the dates open up! I guess this is just another thing to make me crazy over!!!
