Got ours for 9/18 as well! Super excited because I called this morning at opening and the cm was like "more than likely it'll open tomorrow which will stink for you because that's when we'll also be opening our candle light processional and wait times for booking that can be up in the hours." Luckily I checked the boards one last time before work. So excited! Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone for checking the reservations so frequently- over here in the uk I was having a nightmare trying to even access the site. Managed to get the 22nd sep for 4 (first day in MK and the day after my 40th). So happy THANK YOU

We are officially booked for September 14th! Very excited, we love the Dessert Party, and it was the last piece of our trip that needed to be booked/paid for.

DBF and I will be there on the 14th too!! See you there...lets hope for clear skies!

I know people have been waiting for Sept to open but just wanted to mention that I switched an August 31st 9:20 reservation for 5 to Sept 1st, so if anyone is looking for that day you can see if its back in the system.

OMG! after checking for months to make reservation for Sept. 2- i made the reservation this morning - only to just check for Be Our Guest and there was an opening for 8:35 for Sept. 2-so I canceled my Dessert Party for BOG. My husband says I am fickle-guess he is right!

LOL...that was the reservation I let go to do the dessert party! We are a party of either 3 or 5 and I was only able to get a ressie for 2 so I was going to do it with my daughter or my husband depending on how the plans panned out. We have fast passes for lunch for Friday 9/6 for our entire group so this was an extra ressie for us. We decided to do the dessert party with all five of us instead.

ENJOY! Glad someone I "know" got it.

I tried for it after you said you canceled and it was in my cart and then disappeared! I called and no luck. Kept checking for right at an hour and there it was again!!! I have done Dessert Party and Lunch @ BOG - but dinner wasn't an option before-now it is!

I'm not sure how many people you have in your group but a party of 4 or 6 is still open on Sept. 8th. Just so you know.

I'm happy Sept. is open though! Now it's time to stalk for Oct.!

After prowling this thread forever, I just got a ressie for 4 on September 26 for my baby girl's 5th birthday evening! BBB in the morning, CRT at lunch and now Dessert Party for dinner!!

Charge is right away. It's an actual reservation not an ADR. You don't get tickets, but they'll have your name and party size on a list when you check in.

The party opens one hour prior to the fireworks, no matter what your ADR time. Do not get caught up in ADR times. People will start getting in line 30 minutes prior to the opening. Your tables are pre-assigned, so no reason to do it to get a table. You do get better dessert selection on some nights. It just depends on what desserts the guests take, and how many. Disney will keep restocking through the end of the party, but if they run out of one particular dessert, then they may either just not restock it or switch it out with a different dessert. We've experienced both.

Just took a quick look, and it looks like parties of 3, 4, 5 or 6 are all available... just a party of 2 that isn't... I know some people book for larger parties to get a spot...

Let me make sure I'm understanding correctly. The only benefit to lining up beforehand is food selection, right?
