Why do people stand at the rail? From our experience, we could see well from our table (even both kids) in the middle row. The table behind us was empty, but I imagine they would have been able to see everything too. Part of the allure of the party is being able to relax and watch the fireworks, no?

Similiar experience here. We've been at different locations in the front row and have never had a problem seeing the fireworks, even with people at the rail. I've heard fom friends that they have had the same experience in the second row. I have no idea on any further back. And that includes my 4 kids, ages (then) 2-12

Just got back, did the party this past Thursday and it was everything I had imagined and more I had such a wonderful time, it was a great surprise for my mom for her birthday. Plan on posting pics later in the week. Hope everyone gets the reservations they are looking for Enjoy the party

Does anyone know why the dessert party is only available for ADRs on Friday & Saturday in the summer time? I was trying to book for July, but not over the weekend & the day is greyed out.

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure others booked for all different days in July and not just weekends. I don't know why they would be greyed out, unless that certain day is already sold out. July has been open for some time now, so its possible they are sold out for that day. Maybe you should try calling them?

I just pulled it up on the new site and the entire month is showing. Were you using the new or old site?

Thank-you for your help, it worked with the new website on my computer. For some reason my iPad was bringing up the old site with that weird glitch - Super Strange!!

I tried this morning online for August. Something is different now. Instead of saying 1 restaurant with 0 availability, it says 1 restaurant with availability, but it won't let me actually do the reservation. I called WDW Dining and got the pat answer of "you have to book this 60 days in advance". When I told her July dates were released before the 60 days, she told me that July wasn't open yet. Then she "checked again" after I told her July was open, and lo and behold, July was open--but she said August still wasn't.

However, since there has been a change in the website, I feel it coming!! Hopefully sooner rather than later!!

EDIT: Ok, that's weird. I kept refreshing and now it is back to saying 1 restaurant 0 availability. They are TOYING iwth me!!! AGGGGHHHH
