Wishes Cruise

Has anyone taken the Wishes Cruise and if you did what did you think of it. I haven't read too much about it on the boards and we have hesitated to take the cruise. Is it as nice as the Illuminations cruise? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

We just did the Illuminations cruise last night...it was AMAZING! I am glad we did Wishes first when we were here 2 years ago. Wishes was good...you are just not close to the action. We were right in the midst of Illuminations last night. Either way, it is a fun time.

for your response. We have thought about doing the Wishes Cruise many times but thought maybe we would be disappointed having already done the Illuminations Cruise. And we just love that. It is so neat being right in the middle of everything. We like it so much we've done it a least 3 times. Still going to think about Wishes Cruise. Maybe just the boat ride alone for some of the trivia they tell you would be interesting. Thanks again.

I have done both the Pirates Cruise and viewed Wishes from the lagoon aboard the Grand 1 yacht. 2 thumbs up for both!

DW and I did the Wishes in May, just the two of us on the boat.

Great night, picked up at GF, fun and informative tour of the area, fantastic show (with on board music) and dropped of at the Contempory dock for a late dinner at the California Grill.

An unforgetable evening !

We did the Wishes Cruise last June and I would highly recommend it. Some friends of ours went at the same time and it was their daughters birthday so the mom paid extra for the Birthday theme. There was a banner and balloons all over the boat. The cake was the best cake I had ever eaten. We got picked up at the Contemporary and saw the Electric Pagent Parade. After that continued cruising along witht he captain telling us informative things about WDW and of course cracking jokes along the way. We stopped behind the castle and while waiting for Wishes to start that is when we had the cake and softdrinks. That was our highlight of the trip last year.
