Wishes, best location to view?

Is there a recommended location to watch Wishes at Magic Kingdom?

We just got back and watched from the circle infront of the Castle. I got a seat on the bench about 45 minutes before the start. My family then came later. Good idea to have a person get a spot for all to see and try to hold onto an area. If you have bags and things you can kinda mark and area but try not to be greedy.

We got there about 15 minutes before Wishes was about to begin, and sat ourselves right in the middle of the "street". Soon, everyone was sitting, and we were right in front of the castle, with Tink flying right over our heads. It was wonderful. I held my two sons close to me, and had tears of happiness running down my cheeks.
Go right in front of the castle and see if people are sitting down on the ground. If so, join them!

I know this isn't in the Magic Kingdom, but the view from atop the Contemporary Resort, either inside the California Grill or or outside on the viewing platform, affords a great view without having to deal with any of the crowds inside the park.

I second that! We didn't even have to go to the viewing platform since our server sat us by the window! WOW! That was amazing. And they pipe in the Wishes music too!

We used to watch the MK fireworks back by Liberty Tree Tavern. Is this still a good spot or will we miss things? It was never very crowded back there. Pooh was another spot.

Ditto this... there's plenty of space in front of the Plaza Restaurant, and near the Plaza Pavillion counter service. Both are in the walkway between Main Street and Tomorrowland. Just grab a seat about 45 minutes prior to the show, get some food, and eat while waiting.

The *best* place is the 14th floor concierge lounge at CR. The music is piped in. Simply magical!!!
