Wish Trippers...Unite!! Volume One

Mia is doing fabulous with the treatment, we are now on phase two which is 3 injections weekly. She is such a trooper. She isn't too sure that she has cancer but she does know that she has bad germies that only the medicine can get rid of. The first phase she had treatment 5 days a week for about 5 weeks and about3-4 hours a day. The doctor did the treatments right in his office which is fabulously set up for children. His office is about an hour away, so we did it with very little complications. Well, except for a day that a tractor trailor lost a metal bar off his truck and blew out my tires. Luckily that was the only problem we had. All of her surgeries are healling great, she has very little scabbing left on her foot. We were told we would have at least two more surgies in the next year, one to remove her port and the other to do another graft to make the skin more resilient. We are ready to have this over with.

I just got off the phone with our Dream Weaver Laurie, and was told that we are only given 3 day park hopper passes so I am going to get the other 2 days for us. I am so greatful for everyone and everything they are doing. We are just busting at the seams ready to go. So I am going to have to get moving on organizing the final tidbits of the trip! YAY! 10 days!!

Wil and Ali got their package today and they are totally enjoying all their little goodies. Ali has already covered herself in ink stamps from both sets you sent. I was having a bummer of a day and then Wil went outside and saw the package sitting there and said "Mummy, what's this?!"
The nicest thing about your Pixie Dust, is that it makes me want to run right out and pay it forward. I'm trying hard to come up with something that I can do and send out.

And congratulations on your baby!!!! You are truly a busy girl...but a blessed one to be sure.

The kids got your package today and they were all thrilled . Morgan and Katelyn love the High School musical books and pens. Nathan, Kim and Courtney loved the puzzle books. That will really keep them busy on the plane. Thanks sooo much for the pixie dust.

I found a picture of Mia's melanoma, I was browsing some photos from last years vacation to virginia beach and saw this. She is passed out after a long day so her foot was hanging off the bed, I cropped it so you can see it better

This was smaller than what they removed.

Robin, you kids look awesome in the clothes made, it's amazing what some people can do with a sewing machine. I am domestically handicapped so I could never imagine how in the world they do it! I will look for you guys while down there. I believe you arrive the day after we get in!

We got that same letter from Amber! She sent a little pixie dust to all four of my kids!! They have been having so, so much fun with all their activities. The twins have been stamping away and playing their card games. Ty and Madison have been loving their activity books, too! Amber, thank you so much! The fact that you would take time out of what has to be an extremely busy life to spread a little love--well, you are just so sweet! Thank you so very much. What a way to end a trip by having this package in the mail. The kids were so surprised since they thought the mail had stopped for good.

I can't even begin to tell you all how grateful I am to have found you. Thankfully one of Bill_Lin's posts came up in my Google search

My 9yr old son was approved for a wish about a week ago. Of course he chose WDW. I was so hoping he would choose DL, as we've been there before and I know my way around and it's not so far from home. But this is HIS wish so WDW here we come (in December).

I am not used to having some one else plan. I NEED to do that. Thankfully the last 2 days I've had you all to keep me busy Laundry can wait

I am so much more excited about going now that I've read. It's amazing to hear everyone's experiences and heartwarming to see all the smiles

Bill: I must start an Excel sheet of rides. What a great idea. I love the Wallpaper of pictures too. I must do this also.

Amy: I've loved reading your TR. It was like we were right there. I told DH about your 2000 pictures and told him "see, I'm not the only one"

Off to organize my notes (Yes, I took them while reading) and finally feel like I have some part in the planning of all this

Hello everyone ! We are back from a marvelous week!!!!!! We missed you all though.I swear you all have to stop posting so much, I have too much to catch up on! Amber that that baby is beautiful! My gosh! It's amazing that something so small and innocuous in appearance as the spot on that baby's foot could have such serious results. Thank goodness it was finally diagnosed, even though dealing with it was tough on all of you.

This is my first post but I have been reading and learning so much from all of you!!

My son Hank is going to recieve his trip through Dreams Come True here in Jacksonville FL.! His "dream" is to stay at GKTW andto do Jedi training at H.S.! Our dream team called me this morning and said that our dates are Nov. 6-12! OMG!! That is like 3 months away!

Now I have to learn all I can from you all about how to do a wish report and get aticker a how the hell to relax!!!
