Wish Trippers...Unite!! Volume One

WELCOME TO EVERYONE WHO IS NEW!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:   :grouphug: :grouphug:

I am so excited to hear everyone's plans and questions. There are some wonderful ladies and gentlemen here that have answers to almost everything. There are also some of us who have questions for almost everything. :rotfl: :confused3 I had to have lots of help with the ticker for Karlyn's PTR and I am so glad I got the help I needed. We are certainly all at different stages in our trip process, our computer skills, etc. but I truly believe we are all at the same level when it comes to our love for Wish Kids and their families:hug: and the marvelous organizations who make those wishes come true. We all have plenty to share.

Again, welcome to the Wish Tripper's and feel free to spread the word!

Denise

I don't know how to link a PTR, but you need to shorten you lines so you can see all of your ticker. I don't know what the capacity is, but if your signature is too big, it gets cut off. You can put your names side by side, or limit the spaces between some, and you should be able to get your ticker in.

Janel- Write your pre trip report in that section and then put a link in your signature.Someone on these boards will also put a link in the first page of this thread. Also as for the family shirts...some of us have made our own and some have been made by a wonderful group here called the DISboutiquers. They have made a lot of wonderful things for our kids. When your trip gets a little closer we can all help you with famly shirts.I don't sew but I can do iron ins and such.I promise to help you!

I just returned from a Make a Wish trip to Disneyland in Anaheim with my daughter and if anyone has any questions I would be glad to answer . There seems to not be much information about disneyland wish trips out there. We stayed at the Paradise Pier and Disney really made our trip a memorable one , we had the best of times.

Hello everybody- we are back from our family vacation at Disneyland! We had such a great time but now I have so much to catch up on!

Mskanga- I'm glad you had a great time. We saw several families with MAW buttons. My sister saw a family on the tram with a MAW button and they were not having a good time- I think there had been all sorts of problems with equiptment. I sure hope that wasn't you ( and if you had a great time it probably wasn't- plus if you were staying at Paradise Pier, you probably wouldn't be on the tram.). Did Disney do all sorts of special things for you?

Amber, when we got home, the boys had a big package of pixie magic waiting for them- Thank you so much. They loved all the stuff.

Also, right now we have ADRs for 4:05 pm on the day we go to MVMCP ( we do not have tickets to get in the park before that) but I read somewhere that you should go eat at one of the resorts ( where a ticket was not required) so that we don't "waste" any of our MVMCP time eating. What do you think? If we can still get an ADR, where do people suggest?

Actually that could have very well been us , we did have some setbacks with my daughter's scooter that "died" on us two days on a row , the first time we got it charged at guest services , the second day I pushed it from Main Street all the way to the tram and car and then to the hotel and I was quite aggravated that day. That was after airtran losing our own wheelchair ( so as you see we did not start off on a good note ) .The third day the company came out to fix the scooter. The fourth day we took it easy so there wasn't a problem , the fifth day the darn scooter died on us again in frontierland but this time it would not recharge and it would not move at all , we got ireally stranded.
THANK GOD Disney stepped up to help us out , they came to rescue us with a wheelchair on the spot and took the dead scooter back to the resort for us, they were very nice about it. But I prefer to remember the possitive ......the good times!
