Wish to Magic Side By Side Review

Why did you prefer the Magic? Top 5 reasons? (If you don’t mind . . . )
1) adult sundeck on the Treasure
2) no walking track on the Treasure
3) interior of the Magic has the typical DCL nautical feel - blue/red. Treasure has themes
4) Magic is smaller and has 3 separate elevators - not a fan of the 2 on the Treasure. Always seemed to be lines for everything on the Treasure. Never saw any on the Magic in 15 nights.
5) trivia on the Treasure in Triton’s - that is too small for the number of people who want to attend. Sarabi also filled up for popular activities. Didn’t have the same experience on the Magic.

I could keep going! But we did enjoy the dining and lounge experiences on the Treasure. We sail the Treasure again in 3 weeks, but that is probably it for us. Back to the fantasy - which beats the Magic and the Treasure.

I'll agree with the above poster we definitely prefer the Magic over the Treasure (or Wish) overall but there are parts of the Treasure we prefer over Magic (Coco> Rapunzel's). But we still prefer the Dream and Fantasy over the Magic/Wonder. The Satellite Falls area just cannot be beat in my book and not having to deal with a full blown show during dinner is nice. :thumbsup2

Thanks! So much of it is layout/design. I have heard the food is better on the Treasure. I haven't been on any of the newer ships but always liked the decor and design of the cabins on the classic ships. The Magic was my first . . . .
❤️🚢

Thought I’d share my recent Side By Side experience at PC, as it was seamless.

Got a letter the day before with the process and meeting place aboard ship 1. We were to meet at 0900.

Officer checked us all in (the B2B people for ship 1 were in the same spot so be sure to check in with the correct officer).

We were escorted off the ship around 0915.

Everyone to get thru immigration & collect luggage on their own, then check in with a CM at the Disney bus transport area.

Around 0945-1000, loaded up on the bus to ship 2.

Arrive next terminal, they collected our luggage at the bus for delivery to ship 2; we did not have to find a porter.

Escorted into the terminal to wait for checkin to open.

We were able to check in before the ship 2 B2B people on this next ship.

Boarded with BG2.

No delays, no confusion, etc. It was a very quick, efficient process.
