WISH Team Marathon Weekend Events

Please count the "Sole Sisters" in for dinner at Pop (klh-or/Karla, plutopdx/Monica, rake5/Rachael, sassparillo/Heather)!

Not sure of our plans for Monday's breakfast or volunteering/scream teaming for the marathon. Still working on logistics.

we'll be at Pop on the 11th
Breakfast at the Boardwalk Bakery on the 14th
I'll be screamin somewhere for the full marathon, perhaps for the 5K as well!
(I forgot the other choices - sorry)
(can I scream in the middle? Like MK and make it over to scream at Epcot?)

oh, I'd like to meet for the start of the Half, and I'll probably be one of the last finishers
(shooting for 15min miles, but I cant promise that!)

Right now we are arriving Friday, 1/11 and departing Friday 1/18 will be staying at BW

DH and I will see the WISH Team at Pop Friday and

Monday a.m. at BW Bakery.

Definitely will look for the team early on Saturday and Sunday.

DH will meet me/us at the finish line. I will be at the back enjoying the view I WISH!

Ok... DW (mrstropicana) and I will have a grand plan of being at the POP food court for the meet and greet (hopefully I won't be flying down that night again like last year and miss it) the start and finish of both the HM and M (yay goofy) but likely will be lacking a scream team (well other than the DOZENS of other green shirts...). We're staying at SoG but last year had to drive back up Sunday night so won't make any plans for Mon just yet.

Scream Teaming at the Family Fun 5k

Will be at the Pop meet Friday night

John will be at the start of the half; we will both be at the finish

I will be part of the scream team for the half - location TBD

John & I will both be at the start & finish of the Full

We are a maybe for the Pleasure Island Post-Race Party

We will also both be at the Boardwalk Bakery Meet Monday morning.

Ok....I guess I should have just told you to put us down for everything except scream team for the full.

Also, we will be there from 1/10 - 1/18 staying at SSR.

Despite all of the negative vibes, I opted to go for the Runner's Retreat for the full (I figured I'm going Goofy, so I wanted at least a chance on one race to see what it was about), so may not see you at the full....

Monday probably won't make the breakfast because I've already booked a massage for that morning....

Hi there! Thanks for coordinating all of this!!!

DH and I are doing the 5K.

I'd like to try to make the 4:30 meet at POP. We are planning on doing the MK that day and have dinner ressies at 6:20 at the Grand Floridian Cafe... I guess we'll have to see how it works out... I'd love be able to put a face with a name for some of the folks on here!!!

We are staying at POP from 11/9-11/13

DH and I will arrive on 1/11 with our 4 DDs. We will attend the WISH meet at Pop Century. I am not sure about the Monday breakfast yet. We will be staying at WL until 1/15.

I will definately be looking for everyone before the races. The half will be myself and my sister and the full just me. I will also try to meet up at the Boardwalk bakery on monday morning - shouldn't be hard since I am staying there

I won't be able to do any other meets since my dad is coming up to see the kiddos so I won't be able to get away.

I will be staying at the Pop Century resort on Saturday & Sunday nights, and hope to make it to the Monday breakfast! Question - is the Boardwalk Bakery inside the parks or elsewhere? If it requires an admission ticket, I won't be able to come. I am also planning to stick around for the Pleasure Island post-race thing! (although we'll see what my legs have to say about that plan, lol)

I don't think I'll be able to come to dinner on Friday night, though :/

Thanks, Judy! Since I grew up in FL, all the trips I ever made were day trips (never stayed in the resorts before!), and the Boardwalk is a side of Disney I have never gotten to experience yet. I gueses it'll be fun trying not to get lost

It's actually a great spot! It's within walking distance to the entrance to the Studios and the "back door" to Epcot. Plus the Boardwalk has lots of interesting things itself.

I'm late, I'm late, I'm very very late.....

I will definately be attending the Friday night dinner at Pop, be at both race starts and the Monday Boardwalk Bakery meet...

I HOPE to be at the meeting spot at the race finishes, however Saturday will depend on how my body feels (must rest well for the full the next day) and Sunday will depend on how long I can keep my body in an upright position....

I will be staying at Pop Century.

I will most likely be at the Pop...but not sure with who. Girls have a field trip to Z88.3 that afternoon and not sure if I will send hubby with them or go myself.

I can be at the half marathon start with my sis' (though still clueless on where exactly I would be meeting folks--I guess where I find the lime green-yellow shirts?)

I can be at the full marathon start with the hubby.

I would love to be at the Boardwalk bakery on Monday.

Unsure of the rest of my plans.

Most likely staying off property for free banana: ) at my brother's house.
