Wish for more accommodations options

I really like the master suite in the 1,2, and 3 bedoom units at all of the DVC's. However, when I have family come to visit there are times when I would like to see more options in the accommodations.

I'd like to see at SSR or some future DVC what I'll call the 1BD+ and 2BD+ for a portion of the units. The 1BD+ would have 2 queen beds in the bedroom and the soft-sleeper in the living room. Instead of 1 large bathroom there would be two regular size bathrooms. The unit could be just a little bigger and cost say 1 or 2 more points for weeknights; maybe 3-4 more a night on weekends. For the 2BD+ just attach the studio.

I'm not saying do all the rooms like this. Just some - say 25%. I'd like the flexability.

We've discussed this before and even had polls. The majority of the members would not give up the King/Master set up. DVC already has options for all the size groups you have in mind. There are some realities to this situation that most members don't seem to understand. DVC is still a timeshare and as such, they should confirm to a certain extent to industry standards. If they don't, there are certain difficulties that ensue on the exchange side. This creates problems when exchanging through II and it causes problems in the DVC system to have an odd duck room. Dues are already high enough and creating specialty rooms would further strain the system.

Besides, if they did have sleep 6 1 BR or sleep 10 two BR units, they would not be just a few points more but likely very close to the current larger units in question. And don't think for a minute that DVC has any intentions of selling you a room for 6 in a 1 BR so you can save points when they can sell you more points for a 2 BR unit.
