Rope drop at CA options?

Hello. We normally rope drop Incredicoaster when we do our one day at California Adventure. It is mostly likely down while we are there in early August. We are instead going to try to rope drop Guardians. We get LLs for Radiator Racers and Soarin for later in the morning so we don't want to try to rope drop those. I'd like to hold our LL for Guardians for later in the day/evening.

What area should we stand in to get to Guardians at Rope drop? Do we line up facing Hollywood street? Is that a better walk to Guardians than being with the huge crowd that heads to Radiator Racers? We typically would stand on the right side of that crowd to go right towards Pixar Pier.

They will let you go all the way to the far end of Hollywood Blvd, past Off the Page, to line up for Guardians. So you will be very close to Guardians!

Hang a hard left @ Cathay Circle onto Hollywood Blvd and you will see the cast members at the rope near Award Wieners. They typically walk you to the attraction in a somewhat orderly fashion (not a stampede like RotR, RSR, PP or SM). They will start to funnel you down to single file line on the left side of Sunset Blvd when you pass in front of the Hyperion Theater. GotG is probably the most reliable E-ticket rope drop at either park IMHO.
