WISH Exercise Challenge September 2004

Ok - 1000 minutes Here's what I did so far this month.......

9/6 - 60 minutes (walking on beach)
9/5 - 60 minutes (riding bike)
9/4 - 60 minutes (walking on beach)
9/3 - 60 minutes (walking on beach)
9/2 - 45 minutes (EFX machine)
9/1 - 60 minutes (EFX machine)

so.....345/1000
 
Slowly I move......42 minutes today. ;) 237/1000 I need to pick it up a bit to stay on a plan that will have me reaching 1000 in time.

Woo-hoo!!! We are all kicking major exercise butt in this challenge!:jumping1: :jumping1:

Add another 59 minutes of exercise, Rae Ann, I'm now at 238/1000. And thanks :worship: for all your hard work with the tallying of the minutes...

I did another 45 today, so I am at 335--665 left to go-Woo-hoo!


I did not make my goal last month and that made me MAD! I am really pumped to make it this month!:thewave:

Yesterday we had such a beautiful day that it really motivated me to exercise. I did a total of 190 minutes. That now puts me at 885/1500. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another beautiful day today! :sunny:
 
I'm on a training schedule for the half-marathon...so I need this to get me on a good foot. I did great last week...Starting from 9/1 I've exercised 300 minutes...my schedule has me working out 6 hours a week and sometimes 8 hours a week when I have to do the long walk. Can I sign up for the 1500 minute? I think I might can hit it if I stick to schedule! :)

I did Firm super body sculpt (upper body only) this morning for 18 minutes. That brings my total to 294/1000. Thanks for updating me!
 
Just back from the gym and completed 120 minutes

30 minutes weights
30 minutes cardio
60 minutes treadmill

How can I feel so exhausted and great at the same time?!:crazy:
 
Our power is back on, so here's my updated exercise totals from the time we were evacuated ;

9/4 - 60 min walking. Overall total 430/2000.

9/5 - 0 Stayed in room while Frances was here glued to the TV watching storm coverage.

9/6 - 240 min walking around WDW! Figured we'd might as well take advantage of being in the area, & besides they had hot food there! Overall total 670/2000.

9/7 - 30 walking. Too tired from 9/6 to do much more! Overall total 700/2000.

I'll be back later to report what I do today.
 
I did 65 minutes on the treadmilll and 3 weight circuits for 125 minutes this morning. Then this afternoon, I did a 50 minute kickboxing class to work off some frustration. I am sure I won't be able to move tomorrow. My new total is 672. I am increasing my goal to 1500 minutes.

Should we update weekly or daily? I'm afraid I'm going to lose track of these numbers! :)

I'm 360/1500 for September...did treadmill today....managed to keep a 3.8 average for over 3 miles and worked out! :) Onwards & Downwards!

welllll seems Ive had a set back - back at docs today - he had to put silver nitrate on my incision so Im taking it easy - only worked 2hrs of my 7hr shift - Im doing fine walking but once I get to work and bend uhoh - havent been lifting anything heavy -

tomorrow is a new day

I did walk 30mins this morn

Did get in a 30 minute bike ride on some hills. Hope for more on Thurs.

Took your great idea and cut it in half(500) and put up a chart at school to challenge my coworkers. They are very enthusiastic and I think its the right number for those not training for a big run. THanks for the idea.
 
Hi everyone! I know it is already a week + into this month, but I want to do this. I'm looking to do the 1000 thank you!

So far I have done 30 minutes of walking. I will add on much more now.
 
I haven't been able to post in the past few days (I've been too busy exercising lol) so could you please add the following for me

9/6 30 min. light weights

9/7 60 min. bike ride

9/8 130 min. walk

That puts me at 488/1000. No wonder why my legs are tired tonight lol
