WISh Check-in week of September 28

Hi everyone:

I am checking in this week with a 1 lb. loss for a total of 7 since joining WISH and 19 overall.

Hi everyone! My wieght stayed the same. I think it was a combo of eating more on the weekend including a Chinese food buffet, chocolate and new diet soda because my left leg and foot are a lot more swollen then they have been in about 4 weeks. I also did not walk as much as usual because I had a brain cramp and tried to walk in a brand new pair of sneakers before breaking them in on Thursday. Wound up with a blister on the back of one foot and a popped blister and rubbed raw skin on the back of the other.
I am determined though to do much better this week and will definately be more careful because this weekend is my nephew's engagement party on Saturday and my sister's birthday party on Sunday.
Have a great week everyone!

Lost a bit more this week...although not as much as I would have liked...I really have to start to excercise to kick this in again and I should probably increase my water a bit...I think I've been slacking off on getting enough everyday.

So my grand total so far is 41 pounds ( 36 since joining W.I.S.H.) so I'm going to grab myself a new clippie!

Slowly, but surely the pounds roll off.....maintained last week, lost a pound this week. Not bad, TOM coming! I have 2 pounds to lose to get the 35 pound clippie--I've been hanging around the 30 pound clippie since Labor Day. :( I am still motivated, and haven't cheated since I started Atkins!
Great job everybody!!
I see success in all of us. Merely by signing in and sharing, we show our determination to get and STAY healthy.
Debbie said it wonderfully!!! Thanks for your positive words!! :p

I lost 1.2 pounds this week! I really love the flex points, and I am amazed at the amount of food I can eat and loose.

I am at a total of 30 pounds lost since 6/2/03! YEAH! I can start to feel my goal being within reach!

Great job everyone, keep up the great work.

Melanie

I was absolutely delighted this morning to find that I lost 3 lbs this week! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

That brings me to a loss of 31 lbs on WISH, and a total loss of 37 lbs! :teeth: I'm off to collect my new clipart now! :teeth:

Now all I have to do is manage to keep it off next week while we're at WDW! I think the reason I seem to lose that last little bit of weight I need to get my next clipart just before I go on vacation is to help me stay on plan while I'm on vacation!

Congratulations all!

Another 1/2 pound down for me. :) Three more pounds to a new clippie and a new weight range and 4 more pounds until I reach the 50 pound mark.....I am getting excited here!

Keep up the great work everyone!

Well done everyone, you have all been working so hard toward your goals. I had lots of temptations this week. We went down to London on Fri. and there were all kinds of goodies to eat, but I found healthy sandwiches for lunch and dinner and drank my water. Sunday I had to sit for 45 mins with a bucket of popcorn on my knee and boy do I love popcorn!! :D Anyway the sacrifices paid off, as I lost 4lbs this week and I was able to get my 25lb clippie. So everyone lets keep onward and downward!!

Holding at 201.5lbs hoping to get below the 200 mark this week.

I have hit a plateau. I am the same again this week—3 pounds up from my lowest. I still have my 20-pound loss clippie holding on to that with my fingernails dug in. I have begun more TM and working Pilates. I would like to “think” it is because I am trading fat for muscle, yet I know that I have been also trading for more food and carbs. I am deserving of the plateau and happy that I am not creeping any higher.

I think I am back into my mindset and will work toward regaining my previous loss. It has become more difficult as I experiment with adding other food into my routine. I will see what will happen if I go back to basic low carb lose a bit more then try to add other food. I hope that I will not gain to where I am now. I am seeing that it could be dangerous. I am learning how to make wise choices for myself so I can make all of this a life-style change. It is a journey.

I am still debating with myself about doing 5k on Oct 11 and 12—Race for the Cure 1 mi/5/k here and Towpath Marathon/5k.

Keep on keepin’ on.

I'm happy to report another 2 pounds gone forever! That makes a total of 16 pounds gone, and that means... a new CLIPPIE! Hooray! I'm also more than halfway to my first 10% goal, and 9 pounds away from my goal of 25 pounds gone by Halloween. Next week, I'm going to leave the 280's behind for good - hello 270's!

Also, as of this morning, I've exercised 50 days in a row!! Oh yeah!

This week went quite well. I successfullly controlled my eating at two very tempting meals (asparagus risotto with bread, and crepes with jam!), and also ate reasonably at a lunch party with family (I brought the veggie platter!), and dinner at the new IKEA store nearby.

I could have done a little better having breakfast out at IHOP - too many pancakes. At least it was following a tough 9-mile bike ride with lots of uphill climbing. Next time, I'm going to remove one pancake from the stack as soon as it arrives, and only eat 2 - along with the yummy veggie omelette, of course!

Have a fantastic week, everyone!

Happy to report a 2 pound loss and A NEW CLIPPIE!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Now this makes me even more impatient for the next one.

I was having a tug of war with a few pounds. I started KISSing and "voila"! GONE.

Congratulations to everyone. Even if you maintained or gained a little, you are still trying to live healthy, and eat healthy and isn't that THE POINT!!:D

Onwards and downwards :Pinkbounc

This is my first time to "check in" and I'm happy to say that yesterday morning when I did my weekly weigh-in I saw the number on the scales drop by 2 from the week before, so that's 2 more pounds off, 3 more to go before I can get my "5 pound" clippie BUT actually I've lost 15 so far since May and I'm especially excited about DROPPING A SIZE IN PANTS, yippee!!! :bounce:
I have been in 20's for "such a long time" and to get back into an 18 and have them fit comfortably feels GREAT!!! Now I can hardly wait to drop ANOTHER size!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I want to add a big CONGRATULATIONS to everyone else who saw the scales go down this week too!!! :teeth:

Stayed the same this week - luckily, as I'm just not following my plan for more than a couple of days each week. I'm finding it difficult to get back on track since my holiday in August. A bit upset as I've found out my Slimming World consultant is leaving and we'll have to have a stand in.

Oh well I'll do better next week.

Libby

Weigh in and got measured at Curves yesterday and lost a total of 12.5 pounds and 16.5 inches. Yipee!!:Pinkbounc

Good job this week everyone! :)

I am happy to report 2 lbs gone! (I never say "lost" b/c that implies that I'll find them again! LOL)

So I'm even where I was before, so that ain't bad. Now next week I'll be over 50 lbs lost!!

See ya'll next week! :)

Christiana

I'm happy to post a 2 pound loss for my first wish week! Here's trying for my first loss clippie!

Jane

I'm pleased to report a pound loss! woo hoo! it's been a long time since i've typed those words! I'm even more happy b/c this should be a BF week, so we'll see and i'm crossing my fingers the WF will stop by before next wed. we'll see. I did a much better job through last weekend and plan on that trend again this weekend. I know that I will not lose if I cheat alot on the weekend! I'm still nervous that today is a fluke day so i'll be sneak WI for sure, but I'm determined to get under 135!!

Just weighed in over lunch with WW meeting and lost 2.6 lbs this week - yay! We had a good weekend without a ton of food challenges, so that helped, that is what always throws my week off is social stuff on the weekends, but hanging in there so far. I've been back on WW for a month now, and am down 8.4 lbs total - on my way! I had a 27 lb loss goal when I started.

Looking forward to the support of this group along my way!

:D

Another busy week for me. This is page one.

Jiminy102 Once again, thank you for posting our check in thread, Holly. I love reading this.

Good job losing a pound. You are steadily getting closer to goal, every week and I'm proud of you.

Are you planning a meet while you are in Ontario? Let me know if you are, I love both Toronto and Niagara Falls and I would not mind a drive :)

SnackyStacky Tell me you aren't complaining about losing twice as much as you intended ;) You will probably go a couple of pounds up and then a couple of pounds down from now on. Maintenance is not an exact science yet ;)

Thanks for posting here, you help keep me motivated.

Desiree WOO HOO!! Look at you go! Another two pounds gone forever and you have earned your first clipart. I'm so happy and proud for you. Keep it up! You are on your way to goal and nothing can stop you now.

nancyj_pa Good job! Losing 3 pounds in one week is terrific! I love that pretty new clipart in your signature, too. You're doing great and I'm feeling pretty proud of you. Hope you are feeling proud of yourself!

NancyK WOO HOO! Another 1.5 pounds gone from the lovely NancyK. Good job sweetie, you're doing so well. You are an inspiration to me and I'm proud of you.

Have a great trip. Make the best food choices you can but don't obsess. Just be sure to have lots and lots of fun.

LisaTx Hey! Losing .5 pound in one week is progress! You're doing great and I love that new clipart, it looks great on you. Keep this up and you will be at goal before you know it and you will be so healthy.

I'm proud of you, cutie. I hope you are feeling proud of yourself!

joats How great! Losing 2.5 pounds in one week is excellent progress. You are doing great and I'm feeling pretty proud of you :) I see you got your new clippie added, looks good.

ead79 Losing .6 pounds in one week is definitely progress. That would be 2.4 pounds in a month, if you did that every week. I think you're doing great. You are succeeding at getting smaller and I'm proud of you. Hang in there, you're working steadily toward goal and I'm proud of your perseverance.

firecracker
this week, I didn't gain or lose. Disappointing

Oh, cutie. You said yourself that you are working out at an intense level. You are building muscle and that is a good thing. Maintaining your weight is an excellent sign that you will be able to keep this weight off once you have finished losing. That's a good thing!

Have you measured yourself? You could be getting smaller instead of lighter. I'd rather get smaller than lighter, how about you?

Thanks for posting here even though you weren't happy with the number you saw on the scale. I'll bet you show a loss next week, for sure. I'm proud of you for working out so much and staying on plan, I just wish you were feeling proud of yourself.

NCRedding Good for you maintaining your weight this week. Have a wonderful trip.

Otto's Doll That mean old Bloat Fairy. You will be showing a loss soon, though. Thanks for posting here this week even though you saw a teeny little gain. I like your attitude, it's going to help you reach goal!

*Flower* Way to go! Another 2 pounds gone forever. You are doing so well and I'm so happy and proud for you.

Can't wait to meet you in November.

Debbie You are so wise! What a great post today. You are a wonderful inspirational presence, here on WISH.

Good for you losing another 2 pounds! You are getting closer and closer to goal every week. Be proud of yourself, I'm sure proud of you, my friend.

Baileymouse WOO HOO! Another 2 pounds gone forever. You are doing so well. Are you feeling proud? I sure hope so because all of your WISH friends are proud of you.

Sue & Co. That sneaky old Bloat Fairy, just a meanie. Don't worry, you will lose that fluid and I'll bet it takes a pound or two of fat along when it goes.

Thanks for posting here, this week. I know you weren't happy to see that slight gain.

Onward and downward, fellow WISHers.

Katholyn
