Well WISHers another week has come and gone!!! Can you believe it!! Well this week I did pretty good I think. I have excercised everyday so far and have even added crunches as well as some other things to my workout routine!! I feel good about that!! I am currently trying out my Pilates DVD! BOy is it hard!!!! BUt slow and steady wins the race!!! SO I will keep at it. I don't weigh until Monday but I will let everyone know what happens. I am hopping for the best!!!

The weirdest thing happened. Just before I started this thread I looked at the last WISH check-in thread and all the sudden I started hearing this music!!! ANother one Bites The Dust!! I know it was not there on Monday!!!! Maybe I am just hearing things. It was really cool though!!!

I'm finally feeling human again and sticking to the program. I weighed Friday and was down 9 pounds! I really want that 10 pound clippy back so, I'm weighing again tomorrow to see if I get it :teeth:

Next week, I start walking!

I'm so proud of everyone who took the WISH Challenge and who have motivated me to finally do this and stick with it! Thank you!

Morning Holly! I always look forward to this thread on Sunday mornings.

Kelsie, sounds like you are back on track, and I hope you can grab that 10 pound clippie again.

I have had a so-so week. My motivation is not what it used to be and I am struggling a bit this week. Official weigh-in is on Tuesday, so we shall see.

Morning all!! You guys sound like you're doing great!! Kelsie's going to get her clippie back!!! Woohoo!!!!

Well, I'm down 2 more pounds for a total of 17:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc ! I wasn't sure how I'd do this week...haven't excersised because of being sick...but not bad.
On a side note, we went out to a roast last night for someone from my DH's Masonic Lodge...what a dinner:( . The choices were Chicken Cordon Blue (can't have due to the breading) or Roast Beef. Dinner starts...some type of vegetable soup with a ton of pasta in it...I ate the broth, salad (lettuce and cukes for me), warm rolls:( :( :( with butter, and then the main course...VERY RARE (it was mooing) beef, covered in gravy, garlic mashed potatos, and corn. So, I ate the beef with as much of the gravy scraped off as I could, and nothing else. Dessert forget about it. I paid $25 for a dinner of beef, lettece, cukes, and vegetable broth. Did I mention I hate rare roast beef....EWWW. It was a long night!!!! But , I survived.

Hi everyone,
I lost 3 pounds this week for a total of 22.5 pounds. I give a lot of the credit to this board. I don't post very much, but I come here several times a day to read about everyone's journey. It definitely keeps me inspired. Congratulations to those who have losses this week. This week is going to be challenging with Easter candy and family get-togethers. I'm taking it one day at a time, and if I overeat next weekend - so be it. I know that it's possible to enjoy an indulgence and get back on track the next day. Good luck everyone! It's a beautiful Sunday morning here in SW Ontario, and the sun is shining. Spring is on its way, and so am I! I had decided to change my weigh-in day from Monday to Sunday for this thread. ;) So-o-o-o-o . . . .

2 more pounds gone forever! That means that I have achieved my first 10% goal and I get my 25 pound clippie on the same day! YEAH!!!

Oh, and since my mini-goal was the 10% loss by Easter, I've made it. Onward and downward!
 
I'm down 2.75 this morning! YEAH I get my 35lb clippee today. That's a total loss of 35.75 for me! Were off to take the kids to chucky cheese that ought to be a fun trip huh?LOL NOthing there i can eat what's my dh thinking? He's down another 3lbs for a total of 47lbs men and there dang great metabolism.
 
You guys are doing awesome!! I can't believe how much weight you all have lost!! Great job everyone!! :):)

I can't weigh in until Wednesday, but I am sooo looking forward to it!! I just know I have lost something...not only do I feel better, DH woke me up yesterday morning and I got right up!!:eek: Even he says, "I am afraid to wake you up in the mornings, you are so crabby", but yesterday he was shocked I got up and was happy!! LOL :):)

Just stepped off the scale this morning, and for the week, I am down an additional 2 pounds. This makes a total so far since joining you wonderful WISHers of 39 POUNDS !

I am so anxious to earn the 40 pound clippie, I may be forced into a mid-week weigh-in!

i'm down a modest .6 pounds this week, for a total of 22.1 pounds.

It was a hectic week, with several fast-food stops. I think I need to make a real effort to avoid that if I want to get this weight loss train really moving again.:(

I really want that 25 pound clippie!!!

(Congrats to all our losers this week, whether the losses were big or small!)
 
You guys are doing so great! I think I've really blown it this weekend, as I haven't been feeling well and haven't been journaling what I've eaten. I don't weigh in 'til Tuesday, so I'll post the (probably) bad news then. :(

But tomorrow is another day, and I'll get back on track, writing *everything* down!
 
Well, yesterday was weigh-in day for me, and I'm UP 1/2 a pound!! ARRGGHHH!!! But, I'm staying on track, and not gonna give up! I even went by the library to try to find some info on Atkins to see if I could do a modified vegetarian Atkins/Weight Watchers blend of eating! But, I couldn't find anything and I don't really want to put out any money to buy the book since I'm not really going to do it the "right way". Oh well, maybe next week will be better!

Everyone else is doing so well that I didn't even want to post today. I didn't lose anything this week and I'm really down about it. I started weight training this week and I'm hoping that may be why I didn't lose. I guess I'll just have to work extra hard this week. Good job everyone!!
 
I lost 3 pounds (must have been some fluid going bye-bye after TOM!) ;) Anyway, I have lost 10 pounds total since March 9th and I am so happy! I have a shiny new clippie and I feel so proud of myself!!!

My DH says he can tell a big difference and he thinks it has been several years since I have looked like this. Hmmm, I am pretty sure I weighed the same about a year or more ago, but who knows! ;)

Congratulations to all the losers! For those of you who maintained or gained, PLEASE don't be too discouraged!!!!!!!! Turn that feeling around and use it to motivate you to really stick to your plan this week. All of you who are adding exercise and weight training are REALLY putting on some muscle, so that might be what kept your weight the same or even added a bit!!! And it could also be fluid retention for any number of reasons! Just keep doing the BEST you can!!! I'll be crossing my fingers that next week you see a wonderful jump on the scale and you'll all be feeling really great! :)
 
I can't believe it--I lost 2.0 pounds this past week!!! I haven't lost that much in quite a LONG time (probably over 6 months, maybe over 9 months ago since I've had a loss that big). I'm so pumped! I'm almost halfway to my first clippie now! :bounce:

luckymommyx2, don't worry about maintaining this past week. It's in the past now, and you can do it this week! I have been in your shoes many times, and it's hard not to get discouraged and give up. But don't give up, you CAN do it! Focus on the positive--you began weight training, and that's a wonderful step toward your loss. I'll be it will come off this next week.

Congrats to all of you on your incredible losses--I can't believe how many of you have these awesome 20, 25, even 35 pound clippies!!! WAY TO GO!!!

I do not weigh in until Wednesday. I know that I snuck in a weigh in Saturday, and was down 2 lbs. Hopefully will stil be gone Wednesday.

For those who didn't loose or gained a few, do not give up. It happens to all of us, and you are not alone. Keep at it and do not give up.

I don't weigh in until Tues, so we will see! This is the first week doing WATP! I have been doing it since last Wednesday.....only missed Sunday as my day of rest! :)

Wow, so many losses this week! That is wonderful! For those who stayed the same, or slightly gained (a 1/2 lb is not much CDoobee, and it's probably just water weight!) keep hanging in there! I tend to lose weight in chunks...no weight loss for a couple of weeks, and then I'll drop 4-5 pounds all of a sudden. Anyway, everyone is different so try not to get discouraged!

I am down 4 lbs in my first week! Yahoo! I still have not gotten my WISH member clipee thingee. I am debating it. I think it might be too much pressure for me, so bear with me if I forgo it.
