Winsor Pilates Question

I was wondering if those who use it have some feedback. Specifically I'd like to know how easy is it to watch AND follow along? You know how some exercise tapes are, doing complicated moves that you can't see if you're doing them? That's how my yoga tape is - it's a great one but I have trouble seeing if I'm doing it right (especially in downward facing dog:p ) And do you need a lot of space and/or a lot of equipment to do the exercises? Is it varied enough to keep you interested?

Thanks for any help/information!

I would be interested to know too. I want to add Pilates or yoga tape to my mix once I get used to my FIRM tapes.

I have the Winsor Pilates and I LOVE IT!!!!! I find it easy to follow. It took me awhile doing it to get accustomed to the moves...but now I love it and really see results! I highly recommend it!!! You don't need alot of space either! I do it on my bedroom floor most of the time! Only 20 minutes a day and I do it 3 times a week!
If you have more specific questions, let me know!

I have the 3 DVD set and LOVE IT! I am not the type of person who likes to use videos to exercise but this has been great. Here is what I am doing:

I do the 20 minute workout DVD each morning before work on my living room floor (no extra equipment and doesn't take much more room than having your body laying stretched out on the floor). I have been getting up instead of hitting my snooze. It makes me feel great once I get going.

Then, if the weather is bad or if getting out before dark just didn't work, I will do the basic pilateds DVD or the accelorated workout DVD. Again, no extra equipment and doesn't take much room.

I think it was really easy to follow along. I also like how she showed the modified version of each exercise at least once. I did start out with a couple of the exercises in the modified position but I am now doing them all the way they are shown after about 2 weeks.

I have considered looking to see if there are any other Windsor Pilates other than the 3 I have because I like it so much. I especially like the 20 minute workout because I can do this before work and really feel like I got my exercise in for the day even if I don't do any other exercising.

Good Luck and let me know if you have any other questions about it.

I have gotten the 3-tape series as well, and I love it, I was one that never like to exercise with videos, but I really think this is easy, I started about 4 weeks ago, and I notice the difference all ready, and I am also alot more flexible. I do it every day after work and it relaxes me as well as given me more energy.
I think you should try it, it really is a nice easy way of exercising. Just remember the first few times you might find yourself a little stiff, but you will improve just relax and try your best.:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Thanks you guys! That's a big help - you've answered just what I needed to know. I really need to exercise, but I hate it. Pilates seems a lot like ballet and yoga and I like both of those so I think I will be able to do this. I wanted to see if this particular system was a good one or just hype. I appreciate the information so much!

On thier website they offer an even more advanced package of an additional 3 dvd's. I think they are about the same price as the originals and are more strenuous, targeted than the first 3.

Mine are on the way in the mail and I can't wait to get started!
