On our last trip, Nemo wasn't open on our AK day so we were excited to get to see this. A plus is the guy who plays Merlin is from our town and his Sister in law is one of my friends. I know, it's a stretch but I felt like I knew someone famous!
When we got in line, we were in a spot where the sun was blazing down on us. I felt like I was in a microwave! It was so dang hot. I wanted to lay down so I could be shaded by the mass of hot sweaty humanity. Hunter and Ethan were fascinated by a little lizard on the side of a building. Oh, to be so easily entertained again.
I think we stood in line about 30 min before they opened the doors and we were ushered into the sweet joy of air conditioning!
We found a nice bench right by the runway part of the stage............Ok, I have to say this. Why can't Disney make benches that are just a little more comfortable??? Would it be so hard to put a back on them or offer some cushioning? sitting on a hard piece of metal for over an hour doesn't help a sore back...............
Rant over.
We loved this show! It was so much fun! And there was so much going on, I think could watch it several times in a row and not get bored.
After the show we used our fp's for EE. I love that ride! by this time everyone was tired, hot and cranky. So we headed back to the resort to chill for a couple hours before our dinner adr.
The kids swam for awhile and I took a little nap. I don't know what d.jay did.
When it was time, we headed off to WS for dinner. We were eating at one of our favorites.........Restraunt Marakesh.
We enjoyed our meal here, but it wasn't as good as the previous 2 times. It was still good, just not as good. I love the ambiance of this restraunt nd I have to say that the waiters there are very cute.
Up next............oh, my back!
