**Winkers goes to England~It's so hard to say goodbye**

I totally agree about the whole personal space thing. Remember my last report with the nasty foot lady at the Playhouse Disney show? UGH!!

Anyhoo....love all the pictures. Looks like you guys had a pretty good time at the P&PP.

I am going to try to get more photopass pics next time and get the CD. We usually get the book made rather than buy the CD because we just don't have enough pic's to make it worth the price. If we don't have enough in Feb I'm sure we will on our cruise in June! One of these trips I'm getting the darn CD!!

The photopass is worth it if you take alot of pictures. And you pre-order it!

I loved the photo pass pictures. I agree that it is worth it if you pre buy it and take lots of pictures. Baliey just looks so pretty in her costume. I would be so mad if someone did that to me at the parade after I held my spot for an hour. Some people have so much nerve.
The other day as I was leaving the grocery store I had Grace in the front of the cart. It was clear when we started to cross the parking lot and then from out of no where a car came flying and honking. I crossed and then turned around and looked at the driver like what the heck. She stopped and rolled down her window and asked me if I had a problem. She said she was honking at her cousin. Well what was I supposed to think she honked when I was in front of her. She looked like she wanted to fight. What would she have thought if I had done the same thing to her.

Maybe next time you should ask the stroller lady to stop bumping you. If they have the nerve you should too.

Winkers an UPDATE !! Loved the pix ! I get ticked off when people try to stealyour spot !!I love it when the cms make them move and they try to get you too and the cm tells them NO!!!

The goodness and sense of everything being right with the world came to an abrupt end about 15 minutes before the start of the parade. Suddenly, I found that my children and I were being pushed and stepped upon as others tried to crowd in. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Nothing ticks me of more, than when I take the time to find a good spot and then someone comes in at the last minute and expects to get a good seat. I swear if I had the right "equipment" I would have stood up and "marked my territory"! D.Jay refused to.

i feel the same way! i hate that. i always try to get a good spot at least 30 minutes before a show/parade (usually more) and then people show up 5 minutes before it starts and expect to stand in front of me? um......i don't think so. i always embarass ray when this happens because he's so non-confrontational and i'm.....well.....not. but i'm never nasty about it - i just tell them that they need to find another place to stand and they usually go away.

oh, there was a a group of teenagers that were doing the opposite of this (if that makes sense) last past trip i took with erica during wishes. we were right behind the walt/mickey statue on the hub watching it and it's REALLY crowded right there. so the CMs are telling everyone to move onto the red brick because they need a walking path and we're all SQUEEZING in.....very uncomfortable. so after standing there a few minutes and it being so crowded that you couldn't breathe without touching the person in front of you, i look down and notice that there are 3 teenagers LAYING DOWN on the ground and taking up space that about 10 people could've stood in. i evil-eyed them for a good solid 5 minutes. one girl saw me and she stood up, but the others didn't care. that is exactly why i'm terrified to have a teeanger!

where was this? pocahontas is anna's FAVORITE princess and we didn't see her. we saw the raccoon on a path on the way to frontierland, but no pocahontas.

I have mixed feelings about the P&PP. I think I might have got it too hyped up in my head. I was so excited to see all the characters, but the kids weren't really into it. The lines were longer than I had expected too. The fireworks and parade were amazing and probably worth the ticket alone. I would like to do it again, so I know a little more what to expect.

i loved it but i did feel rushed. that was my only complaint. and we stayed until like 12:15. but i don't think we would've done that if we had plans the next day. we were leaving the next day so we knew we could sleep in.

Wow that was alot of catching up to do! John smith!! you are soooo lucky!!! i would love to see him!

The kids look great for the party :) I love the pirate hats hehe...

Loved the pics and the update! I don't know why people always assume you were saving a great spot just for them! :lmao:

We found her in a little spot on the back pathway from Liberty square to adventure land.
Next time, I'm taking you to the parade with me! You can be my defender!

...
I was suprised to see him! I didn't know they even had that character.

Loved the pics and the update! I don't know why people always assume you were saving a great spot just for them! :lmao:

They must think we are very genorous!

After the P&PP we were dead tired. I decided it would be best to sleep in the next morning. Since it was AK day I wasn't too concerned about being able to do everything we wanted................silly me!

I'm not normally a scheduled person, but when I have alot to do, I tend to get a little obsessive about writing lists and following a schedule.
Sleeping in didn't fit into my schedule, but I thought I could be carefree for a day.

Yeah, not so much. We managed to get to the park around 10 and I was totally mixed up. It was like I didn't know how to enter a park without the opening ceremony and a giant herd of hummanity pushing and shoving as we mall walked our way to the hotest attraction.
It was like an eggbeater mixed up my brains and I didn't know where to go, when to go there, or in which direction to head.

I think we spent the first bit wandering aimlessly. This did have one good outcome...................We ran into DeVine!

I could have sat and watched her for an hour............the kids, not so much. I was mesmerized by how she moved!

We went to EE and got FP's for later then we trekked over to one of our favorites. Primeval Whirl. We all love this ride. Unfortunatley, my back didn't like it so much.
About 2 months before our trip I had hurt my back pretty bad, while doing a musical, and it was coming back.

We headed.................ok, the family walked and I waddled , over to flametree bbq for lunch. We love this place. It's so fun to wander down the little path and find a table by the pond. It's beautiful!

As usual we met up with some little friends.

I have to admit to Dawn, and any other bird-a-phobics that my children always feed the birds here!:scared:
yes, these sweet, innocent children won't listen to me and insist on feeding the wild life.

After snarfing down my bbq sandwich, I sat back to enjoy the view and resting my back. Little did I know that there was a wild beast stalking me! As I was sitting there, my hand was hanging to one side...............suddenly I felt a little pinch on my finger tip! I was attacked by a wild animal!!!!

100_4920.jpg

This seemingly innocent cousin of Donald bit my finger! It didn't hurt, just shocked me. Of course, I thought of Dawn and how she would have pee'd her pants if it had happened to her, which made me laugh even harder!

After my close encounter with loosing a finger, we headed to Dinosaur.
100_4920.jpg

And, of course, the picture wasn't working at this ride either!

by the time we got off the ride, I was hobbling along like a 90 yr old. Heck, alot of 90 yr olds could probably walk faster than I was at that point. My back no likey! Yes, I realize going on that ride wasn't one of my brightest ideas.

The kids wanted to head back for primeval whirl, but I decided to sit that one out. It was so hot that day! I found myself a bench with a little ensy wensy spot of shade and waited.

Abot 20 minutes later I see the family coming towards me. They were all grinning and wearing little blue mickey ears............they got a dream!
100_4922.jpg

100_4924.jpg

It's amazing how excited the kids were! I got a little teary eyed over their happiness! you'd think we had one the dream suite!

YAY!! On getting the dream ears!

I can't believe that duck bit your finger!!! Well....maybe I can. :rotfl:

I think this was our arrival day. You are right it was HOT!!!

If that duck would have bit me I would have run screaming all the way back to Louisiana.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I was watering the plants on my porch the other day and I had a twitch on my leg. When I reached down I realized a lizard had crawled up my leg. I screamed so loud I probabbly gave him a heart attack. I am sure the neighbors thought a murder was being commited. I don't like wild animals attacking me:rotfl2:

Wow I like the dream ears:thumbsup2

so your children helped to encourage those evil birds' cannibalistic tendencies??? shame on them! :rotfl2:

but see, this wouldn't have happened to me because when i eat anywhere near any sort of birds (namely at casey's, flame tree BBQ, the mexican place at epcot and the yak & yeti CS), i sit with my feet either propped up in a chair across from me or up in my chair and i do NOT hang my arms down. my irrational fear and loathing of birds won't let me relax in those kinds of situations!

so cool!!!!!!! :thumbsup2 i've been two disney world FOUR times since this dream thing started and haven't won squat. i have one more chance in december. if i don't get something i'm writing a letter!
