My sister is turning 30 when we get back from Disney and I cannot think of a better present then different wines, she loves trying new wines from other countries.

I have read about a certain wine that people go crazy for on here, but I cannot remember what it is called. I know they get it in Epcot, but that is all I remember. So, if anyone knows of some great wines please help me out.

There are plenty of great wines in EPCOT.

You read about these two for sure...

Banfi Rosa Regale...a sparkling red wine (dessert).

Inniskillin Ice Wine...also dessert wine.

Now, I can tell you for the Happiest Celebration on Earth there is a chardonnay, you can get it in some of the resort gift shops and at the kitchen store in downtown disney. It is fantastic. We first were served it in prime time cafe in MGM, and asked if we could purchase a bottle, server told us where to find it, so we picked up 4 to take back home..lol. It is called Buena Vista Carneros Reserve 2003. The specially made for line is on the bottom of the lable. Might be a nice keepsake for her if she enjoys special wines.

Also, a couple times when we have been at AKL in the gift shop they are sampling African wines in the back of the store. There are some oustanding african wines.

Best thing for you to do is check with your local wine shop/liqour store. Ours has tastings (free sometimes/$10 charge sometimes), you can find some great things. Wine is very subjective. Something you like, someone else may not, something they like you may not.

Germany has a nice wine tasting for $ 7-10.

The ice wine is very often mentioned. Maybe that is what you are referring to?

Webray, I can't believe I missed that chardonnay on both of our trips in 2005! I hope they still have it around when we return in Sept; may I ask how much a bottle is?
