wine package question

I have a question about the wine package on the 3 day cruise? If we wanted to have one of the bottles (say the champagne) in our cabin instead of at dinner could we do this? Or do you strictly have to drink the wine with dinner?

When do you sign up for the wine package?

You can buy the wine package at any point during your cruise. Although I think the most popular time would probably be at dinner on the first evening.
