Wine Package and Palo/Remy?

So I'm guessing the answer is probably no, but I bought the 4-bottle wine package for our upcoming cruise and I was wondering if it can only be used in the MDRS, or also at Palo and Remy? We have Remy booked and are hoping to maybe snag Palo brunch on board by lining up when they take rezzies, and I realized I probably over-ordered more wine than we need anyway given my DH likes cocktails, so does anyone have experience with getting a bottle of wine off the "package" at the adult restaurants?

Yes, we have done this exact maneuver every time we purchase the wine package. Just inform your waiter in Palo/Remy and the wine package list (same as in the MDR) will be brought to you.

I have done this at Palo, but was not permitted to do it at Remy. That would have been our first cruise on the Fantasy, so early 2016. I did not try again on our last Fantasy cruise, so things may have changed.

We were on fantasy a year ago. Remy did not allow you to use a bottle from a package but Palo did. We always buy the wine package at our first dinner. We usually end up getting a bottle per night,

Hmm, how odd. Can we take a bottle to enjoy for a happy hour in our stateroom? That might resolve the too-much-wine problem.

You should be able to do this, since you can take an open bottle back to your stateroom and can also take any unopened bottles from the wine package off the ship at the end of the cruise (a very poor use of the wine package, since you are paying the markup to have the wine served to you). Just ask your asst. server to bring the bottle you want to take back to the room.

Thanks--and yes, I did realize I overordered but it looks like it is nonrefundable so oh well. But I would probably drink up a glass on the verandah so I think that sounds like a good plan.
