Thanks for all the responses. I didn't realize we had to leave out of the main entrance too. I was debating driving over bus for the 5k, because I didn't want to wait an hour for the buses to start running back to the hotels but sounds like it may take that long just to get from the finish line to my car!!

Every time we have gone to the postrace party in the past years we have left after about an hour as we just cant stay awake! Let me know if you need them, not looking to get face value for them!

PSA mainly for the half as that has more actual road time…marker signs are starting to show up… I only noted ones for medical tent, water, and speaker set ups but there might be character ones too so keep your eye peeled (local was at parks yesterday with a friend than tonight for eat to the beat)

I can't believe the races are this week! I'm traveling solo and only coming in for the 5K -- I get in late Wednesday and will hit the expo early on Thursday. I did get a ticket to MNSSHP for Halloween night! Anyone else going? Any desire to connect at the party for a few rides or pictures? As much as I'd love to just stay up between the party and the race, I'm not sure how realistic that is for me, so I'll probably try and get to MK around 6 (to minimize exposure to heat -- dressing as Oogie Boogie). I'd like to stay long enough to see the parade, stage show and fireworks, and get back to the Poly for a nap and costume change.

I fly out at 4pm on Friday, so hoping I can sneak in at least a 3-hour nap after the race and before I'm kicked out of my room at 11. If anyone is also flying solo and wants to connect on the course, in the parks or for a meal or a drink/coffee/Dole Whip, hit me up!

everyone says I’m unhinged for wanting to see the 8pm showing of Fantasmic on Halloween than be up for the 5k and than I tell them how some of the RunDisney community plan to do the Halloween party than run (not to mention the Taylor to Ten Miler challenge in April 2023)

Sadness. My sister’s husband passed away today from pancreatic cancer. The visitation and funeral are Saturday. DH and I are signed up for all three W&D races. Our plan for Saturday is challenging: run the 10K as fast as we can (hoping for at least a middle corral and 1:15 time), be on the bus back to the hotel by 7:15-7:30, shower and change to funeral clothes by 8:15-8:30, drive 4 1/2 hours to SE GA to be at the funeral home by 1:00, be with family for services and loving on one another about 4 hours, drive back to WDW, and rest a few hours before getting up for the half marathon on Sunday. Thankful for the extra hour we are getting that night! Sorry we will miss Hurricane Hannah’s meetup this time, but we could surely use thoughts and prayers for crazy mixed emotions, good traffic, and extra energy. Hope to see you all at the morning meetups.

So sorry for your loss! You'll definitely have all our thoughts and prayers for both your loss and for safe travels. You'll be missed at Hurricane Hannah's, but I hope you can make it to the pre-race meet ups!
