Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend (Oct. 31-Nov. 3, 2024)

That’s sorta interesting, and unexpected????... would have expected these times in C, particularly given the fact that DL has more corrals running. Maybe they didn't have enough POTs for a full corral so they just decided to combine with 2:00-2:15, but they're going with one for this weekend.

I had a 2:22 and was in B. Met a runner who had a 2:19 and was in B for the 10K and A for the Half, she said she double check with runner relations and said that it was correct. so I think the Line for B/A must have been around 218-2:19?

Added “hack” is you can make a reservation for Magic/Epcot pull a VQ for Tiana/Gotg than modify it to a different starting park (I learnt this via the no sleep till I ride everything in WDW video all ears recently posted)

It specifically says you HAVE to enter that park before being able to hop at any time. I personally haven't tried it, so can't say if Disney's information is wrong, since I've just changed my park reservation in the morning if we've changed our minds.

That's good to know about the VQ hack for future trips though!

I saw someone 2 weeks ago get turned down at the gate of EPCOT for not having gone to their reservation at AK first, this was around 9:30 in the morning. I do not know if they were able to go in and change their reservation at that point, but we were in the AP line and they were sent out of line... So while some cast members may just override the error, it is not (or was not 2 weeks ago) allowable to go to any park without tapping in at your first park.

Well that makes it even more interesting, would not have expected them to combine the old A and B. I dunno, we'll have to see how this plays out for W&D.

And this is why I still do try to make reservations. I’m not sure Disney even knows what their rules are now but definitely things got confusing with the good to go day addition and the separation of AP vs will call and resort guests. I was there in August and hit 3 parks in one day between 8 and 3 without issue. I changed my mind about where to start and cancelled my reservation in the parking lot and did not make a new one. This was on a good to go day at HS, I think MK is the only real issue as a no go on weekends. Had there been an issue, I literally could have made a new reservation for HS at the gate and then scanned in because there currently haven’t been any capacity issues. Definitely a process that is giving Disney some bad survey marks.

I 100% feel that. My husband got injured during a training run so we haven't been able to run past 8 miles between that, getting sick, and the two hurricanes. We'll go because we have a nonrefundable DVC rental but I'm honestly questioning if it's worth it to attempt the half marathon just to get swept.

It’s not in MDE. Did it come in an email that I somehow missed? And if so, what is the email? I have looked all though my emails and cannot find it anywhere. Contacted RunDisney but haven’t heard back yet.

Yes! Received that as well but wasn’t sure if that was just for the runners or for purchased tickets as well. And funny I did to last year and simply cannot remember the ticket situation.

The physical tickets are only the "comp" runner tickets the purchased tickets you should have recieved an email when you bought them with a barcode that cam be scanned into your MDE app. We bought several this year and were able to add all the purchased ones to the app. But the runner ones will come in the mail.
If you cant find the email with the confirmation id reach out to rundisney.

I have two friends that live in Mex registered but haven't received the mail or info on the tickets..
