Wine and Dine 2015

We may be the exception, but we usually stay at POR .... and still take a cab to expo in the morning for packet pick up, etc .... just easier and less stress.

Lol, the reason we are thinking of changing is so we don't have to take taxis. :)

Are the special runDisney hotel rates likely gone now? I would like to stay at one of the moderates (preferably POFQ or POR) but hadn't booked yet since we were hit with a ton of car and vet bills right before leaving for Tink. I got an Orbitz 20% code today and decided to check out rates, but it doesn't look like it's good on the WDW hotels. :(
We're in the same boat... we have a room at POFQ booked but haven't been able to get through to get it switched over to the runDisney rate, hopefully tomorrow though, I'll let you know how it goes

Thank you DisneyDreamer for the info about Southwest airlines. I just made the reservations for the return home.
It will be a 10 days vacation to Florida. Hotels are reserved, restaurants are reserved for the 5 days at WDW.
What now: the fun part, training for a half marathon...:)

@Miranda I just called runDisney to see about changing our POFQ regular rate to the runDisney rate. Said we had to cancel and rebook through them so I got her to check the availability for our dates (fri-mon) and the only moderate left was CBR. Rebooked with the runDisney rate for there and saved about $250 over our POFQ reservation. Hope this helps you out some!

Thanks. :) I guess I'll call this weekend and book. I'm a little bummed, I wanted PO, either one. :) But the rates on Orbitz were like $215 a night, and the runDisney site looks like it's around $150 a night? We're staying 4 nights (thu-sun) so that would be about the same amount of savings as you.

Do you have to pay the full balance when you make a reservation through runDisney? Or just a deposit? And if so, how much of a deposit?

Yeah ours came to $480 for 3 nights after tax. Unfortunately I'll have to convert that to Canadian and it will suck, but oh well, haha.

Just a balance when you book, remaining at 45 days out.

As a bonus we each got a round of mini golf with the room!

So, I got an ADR for late lunch on race day at Chefs de France - but I'm thinking of dumping it.

What is everyone else's plan on eating before the race?

After failing to get it on my 180+10 date, I just got an early ADR for dinner at Via Napoli. So, planning a light lunch and then dinner at 4:30.

I'm really hoping the Parisian breakfast is scheduled for that Saturday. We had that last year (not running) and loved it. Then likely afternoon snacking. The parks are expected to be crowded so I think it will be a good day for afternoon naps, and maybe a swim. Can't wait!

Southwest is not impressing me with their prices. I'm flying to the west coast cheaper than they are charging for a 2 hour flight.

Ran on our local Rail Trail this am. For the first time in my life, I covered 13.1 miles. 2:08. Now, when I run Harrisburg next month, I can tell myself all race I've run this distance before.

DW did her workout this afternoon. She's still nursing some knee pain. Hoping it resolves soon.
