Have fallen in love with the Windor Hills estate!!! Has anyone stayed in a 3/4 bed villa with a pool (proper pool- not just a splash one!!)????

Are there any particular owners you have dealt with - as I've found a site in dollars but was hoping to find an english site if possible

Amy, I'm pretty sure you won't find a 3 bed on Windsor Hills other than the townhomes (i.e. the ones with splash pools).

Here's a link to 4 bed homes on the Windsor Hills portal - most provide links to individual websites and some of them are owned by UK residents.

Here are some more 4 beds with UK owners:

thats great thanks ever so much - have either of you used a specific villa that you'd recommend??? Plus is windsor hills the same as windsor palms???

Windsor Hills is next door to Windsor Palms and is the newer of the two developments. I haven't stayed at either.

The one Johnny mentions is managed by All Star Vacation Homes - an American agency and management company with a good reputation. You will pay a premium, though, to book through them.

I have never stayed at either Windsor Hills or Palms I am afraid.
My son Joshua likes nearby Indian Creek and sometimes gets upset if we drive onto another development for a look around etc

However, I am very familiar with the location which is ideal I feel.

If you choose to stay at IC at any time just let me know.

I have stayed at Windsor Hills and will again in less than 1 week! We booked direct into a 5 bed house with pool looking over the lake toward the clubhouse, great for watching the heron in the morning and sunrise with the balloon trips drifting across some mornings with their burners lighting up the sky.

Jan was really helpful and although there was a problem where the pool heat hadn't been switched on (in October we found out you do want it with an 8 month old) it was dealt with quickly and the villa was amazing.

This time we are staying in a townhouse as there are only 3 of us, we are going with firstchoice so don't know which it will be yet but they should all be of a similar standard. The spalsh pool will be fine as the main pool is great with slide and toddler area and we plan on spending time in the main water parks (can't wait for the new seaworld water park). We are hoping that the usual nightmare of accomodation on arrival won't apply given that Windsor Hills townhouse with pool is fairly specific and each property isn't that old yet (still fingers crossed :upsidedow ). But that the entire holiday flight (premier) accomodation and car is less than just flights through Virgin and over £1000 cheaper than the cheapest Disney resort hotel but that's a different thread.

Hi, thanks ever so much for all of your coments - I have priced (and repriced!) the holiday over and over (as I basically want the lap of luxury but only spending a budget price!! - funnily enough it isn't going to happen!!!). So....

I think I've finally decided on the following:

Lindfield Reserve for 13 nights - Which I know isn't Windsor Hills but I couldn't find a 3 bed with a full size pool (& the 4 beds bumped the price right up!!) -Please tell me if you know if Lindfields is ok - It looks fine and I can get a full size pool in a 3 bed (which is top of my list) and,I believe, (tell me if I'm wrong!) that its also very close to Disney (again very important for me!!)

Then we're havinga 4night Disney cruise (for our 10th wedding anniversary), followed by 5 nights at POFQ (I just couldn't resist finishing my hols on site!!).

We're 90% sure we will book flight & hotel direct with virgin (due to FVC membership and the fact that I hate flying and won't fly anyone else -don't ask me why, I know it doesn't make sense!!). But the cruise is half the price if I book it direct with Disney, so I'll book that seperately.

Anyway - does it sound ok???? I'm in need of reassurance as its the first time going with small children and I want it to all run as smooth as possible!!!

Thanks again!!

Never stayed at Lindfields, location is good - homes are older than many in the area, but if they are well maintained you should be fine.

Looking for a 3 bedroomed does present problems as there just aren't as many around, especially in the Formosa Gardens area where it's common to find 5,6 bedrooms and bigger all over.

hi ya....

I've satyed at the windsor palms resort last year family of 16 we had 2 villa's, we all loved it so much we are all going back in aug of this year :cool1: Great place to stay very safe and very close to disney. the only real difference between windsor hills and palms is the fact that w.hills is a lot newer but on the down side a lot larger in size, there are some 3 bed villa's @windsor palms..

We stayed at windsor hills last year and couldn't fault it. We initially got a number of quotes through the main windsor hills website, we booked with www.valhallavillas.com and were very impressed, though not sure if these two villas would be too big for you?

we stayed at lindfields 5wks ago. we didnt stay at the reserve but drove past the entrance to the reserve every day. our villa was a 3bedroom with a pool and it was ideally situated for our needs. i need to double check the name of the roads but i will pm some hints and tips and a sneaky back road we used regularly to avoid the long ques on the 192.
