We are just back from our first off site trip. We stayed at a Windsor Hills Townhome "Enchanted" and were very happy. Thanks to the Ohio Blizzards we ended up staying an addtional two days on-site at the All Star Movies.. and we really missed the townhome. Even though we couldn't extend our time at Windsor Hills, the owner went out of their way to try to find us last minute accomodations which was so nice and unexpected. For our family we were so much happier at the townhome versus the Disney Resort that we will definately be looking at Windsor Hills for our next trip.

It was so nice to just walk out the door and be on your way to the parks which are truly only minutes away. We all enjoyed being able to jump into the pool in a moments notice. I loved that this townhome had all the baby gear... highchair, gates, outlet covers, round corners and the kids just had a blast with the MickeyMouse Themed Bedroom and Nemo Themed Bathroom.

If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them.

Thanks for the report, we are staying at Winsdor Hills for our first trip to WDW in October. I thought I would be a little bit dissapointed that I wasn't staying on site however, I am really excited about staying at Winsdor Hills. All the reports seem to be really good, the pool looks good and I like the idea of having a bed room for just me and my husband and one for the kids. Also my inlaws are joining us so it is a money saver rather than getting two rooms onsite.

Glad you had a great time.

How great! I'm considering staying in one of the condos for our honeymoon in November instead of CSR, so I love hearing good things about WH.

Gald you all had a great time and everything worked out for you with the blizzard.

Sent you a PM

I'm sold.
We are planning our first trip to the World for our honeymoon In September. i am glad we are staying onsite and looking forward to it. But my little brain is already planning our next trip to Windsor Hills. There are just so many great reviews!
Do you have any pics of your condo?
I am glad you had such a great time:goodvibes

Zeebs - I was worried about being disappointed with the whole off-site experience not being magical but being offsite made our trip more magical this time. It was so nice to go downstairs after the kids were asleep versus being stuck in a tiny dark hotel room. Even when the kids were awake there just wasn't enough room for our whole crew in the All Star Movies with the two kids bouncing on the beds and the baby crawling all over the place and my parents next door with a connecting room.. .I would have been unhappy if we did that the whole week. It was the perfect setup to have my parent's downstairs with their own bedroom at the townhouse and the beds were so comfortable just what we all needed after busy days. I will post my cost analysis but even with the rental car we came out ahead and much happier. It was nice to have a pool right at the house so the kids could just jump in at any time. We also took a 2 minute walk over to the club house pool and it was awesome. I really liked having the zero entry... it was just like AKL pool without the bar and the crowds:banana:

Monica... I think the big advantage to WH over being on-property was the fact that the car is right outside your door. We stayed at the AKL last time and it took a good 15 minutes just to walk from our room to the bus stop but this time we were in the parks in the same amount of time.

Pigleto ... I will post the pictures of the townhome later this week but the place was just as advertised on the web-site with lots of little bonuses not even mentioned. You can check out our townhome on the VRBO website for Kissimmee, Windsor Hills... I beleive the number is 149146.

Any other questions, I would be happy to answer them. I had a lot of last minute questions before our trip and George answered them right away.
