Since I'm a novice at this, I thought I'd ask. When I was at POP this year I saw quite a few window's decorated, I'm going to assume these were Disboarders (is that correct? LOL) Here's my question, are there any rules to window decorating? Quite honestly, I didnt pay close attention to the decorations, just thought 'how neat' and went on my merry way. If I do get to go in January sans DH, I would love to decorate our window for the kids, and just want to make sure I don't do anything I'm not supposed to do!

We too saw the decorated windows last time we went. I had never seen that before. But we are going to do it this time!

I have read many thread with ideas on here and all of them say that the hotels don't care. We will be there at Christmas, so I am thinking many people will have lights and trees!

Have fun!

As long as you don't do any damage, the hotels don't care.

Try looking at Dollar Stores for Window Clings - I found some Mickey/Minnie mouse ones at the Dollar Store near our house.

I also went to Home Depot and picked up some different colored Mickey head paint samples or you could stick with the Lime Green Mickey heads otherwise known as LGMH. We cut them out and plan on taping them to the windows.

Have fun decorating!

We decorated our door a little this time.. I ran out of time to do what I had wanted to do for our window.. and being this was our FIRST time, I wasn't sure about the WINDOWS.... U of L was playing that weekend so I had to show some hometown spirit! Go Cards!

So here is a little of what I did:
Sorry if the pic's are big...

I am planning on decorating our window next week at POP for Halloween! I already purchased inexpensive Halloween Window Clings at Wal-Mart and I have orange & black Mickey Heads from Home Depot. I think that decorating your window and/or door is fun! I decorated our door for our Disney Cruise last year and was so happy when others complimented me on our door! It came out so good, too. Very easy to do and the making process was just as fun as the decorating! :)
