I have one set on the back deck and one set on the front porch--we really know when a storm is coming!

Have them both inside and outside but have removed some of the outside ones as they bother my neighbor. I have always had them and have a good collection but unless it is really windy I no longer can hear them. Nice to look at though.

We have one outside, but I have to take it down during storms because it drives me NUTS!

Although we could have them in our house due to all the hot air that comes out of the mouths of my family (not me, of course! )

They look okay but I find the constant noise quite irratating. We hear nextdoors garden windchimes more or less constantly. They sound similar to cowbells!

Yes, I love them. I have a ceramic one with hanging seashell chimes inside, and some really nice ones from Hawaii outside.

We have some really nice bamboo ones that we got at Disneyland hanging outside. They aren't as loud as metal ones and have a realy nice sound to them. We've never had any complaints from our neighbors.

The windchimes have been taken down (for now) nextdoor and we never said a word, only on the DIS - woohoo!

Mine are outside...far away from the house by our pool. I'm sure the neighbors behind us can hear them, but I can't and neither can the people on either side of us.

I have a set in the garage, I think they are a little too loud for this neighborhood. They are the metal "tinkly" kind and my mother bought them for me. Maybe if another neighbor puts some out first...

I like them in the house or in a neighbors house but not outside! Our old neighbors had them out one year and after a month I was ready to reach over and cut those things down, how annnoying! Luckily they moved and took the dumb things with them!

We don't have any, but I would love some hanging outside.

They were always something we could never have as DH was always a Night Shift worker & so that meant sleeping during the day

But now he is retired & I would really love some pretty wind chimes.
