Oh dear! We are looking forward to our anniversery trip to Cancun on the 28th. Our hotel was hit earlier and they have been working hard to get everything cleaned up and put back together! (Barcelo Maya) I am hoping for the best! Thanks for the updates. I always depend on the Dis for my News!

I'm NOT happy about this one bit!!!!! The very last name one the Atlantic list of Hurricane Names, and, according to forecast models, it could end up hitting Boynton Beach by Sunday!!!!! And that's basically where I live( I live in Delray Beach which is directly next door to Boynton)!!!!!

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I thought that I'd escape one hurricane season without getting hit!!!! Rats!!!!!!!

Umm---this stinks!

I have a 12 mile run on Saturday and my daughter's b-day party .

On a positive note--we do have flood insurance. But I'd just as well not make a claim this year!

All I can say is that this is going to be an interesting week-end for my ds who moved to the Tampa area one month ago!!! He's in Largo...hope he's tied down!! Stay safe you guys down there.

Wilma has been upgraded to a Cat 1 hurricane. This ties the record set in 1969 for the most hurricanes in a single season, 12. Lucky us.

Well, I am NOT happy about this either. We live in Abaco, Bahamas (top island on the chain of the Bahamas) so right now it looks like we could possibly get it right on top of us. How wonderful We are leaving for DW November 6th, but this could cause a lot of problems for us - airport wise (rain), power, etc.

And I figured once September was over, I could relax a bit
