Does anyone know how hard it would be to get a reservation through interval at the Williamsburg plantation for next Easter? I have used DVC off property and hope it is an easy transaction,is it? How warm will it be as Easter will be April 16th?

Have you been there before? Is there a reason you aren't going to try for Marriott's Manor Club? It's much nicer, IMHO!!! If you put your request in early, I think your chances for the Marriott are very good.

Hi! We own another T/S (which we trade through RCI) in Williamsburg. We spent a week there last June. We did Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Jamestown, Yorktown, and Colonial Williamsburg. We bought the year long passes for CW hoping to make a return trip as we only really got to do 2 days there. Well, we went back there a couple of weeks ago as part of our Spring Break road trip (we also went to Hershey, Philly, Bowling Green, and Springfield, Il.) We spent 3 nights at a Courtyard Inn in Williamsburg from Easter Sunday until Wednesday....WELL....Williamsburg was more crowded than we had ever seen it. We luckily did not have to stand in the long line for passes, but when we tried to buy tickets for the shows and things that require extra tickets we did not get all of the things that we had hoped for. We were not able to get dinner ressies at any of the CW restaurants. We were told that Easter is one of their busiest times and that you really need to call ahead for EVERYTHING that time of year. We still had a good time, and it really did not seem that crowded walking aroung. We did not go to BG this trip but it was open already. We had one rainy day, otherwise it was pretty warm. I would not be certain about swimming then, but our hotel had an indoor pool and most of the T/S places do to. If you go check the CW web-site a few months in advance and go ahead an get tickets/ressies. BG is fun, but do not miss Jamestown, it is like Pocohantas come to life!!! ENJOY!!

We were there several years ago, and had unusually cold weather--sweatshirts and jeans--I had to go to the outlets to get a sweatshirt. But, that is usual. I will vouch for the crowds--we've been there during the summer months often, and found the crowds heavier than in summer.

I second the Jamestown recommendation.
